Now the video seems unavailable somehow. Incredible how NA fears these subjects so much. Censuring is one of the worst society behaviors - you can't just deny things simply because of X or Y - it's actually worse to do that.

Why adults can't judge ANY matter by their own I fail to understand. Who are they to decide what is and what is not "appropriate" for me? Bah

As long as people keep falling for Bethesda'a lame hypes, they will keep hyping up milked spinoffs like this. For sure is another money-grab like a remaster/Online/Switch-thing.

Right now, one day after they put up a camera recording live a toy with STAND BY in the background, there are almost 100k watching it on twitch. Good job people. Kappa Clap

If they think they can sue anything-BR, Valve could have sued 14000 games doing coop FPS zombies after L4D.

PUBG makers are parasites since the beginning, their game itself is an "evolution" from DayZ-similars.

I'm actually happy this is happening to expose them as they are.

Nah, not because of that. More because of their ethics and some shady strategies (i.e. being streamers' b*tch). Where there is smoke, there will be fire. They're not the only ones, but of course the spotlight highlights them.

A lot of new devs have been suffering by the lack of experience in PR - some do it nicely just because of their natural ethics. Others start to walk weird paths as soon as they hit top 50 in Steam, like PUBG or Starbound, to give another exampl...

TBH, I don't care which city - I just want Bethesda rethinking how they are making their games. Since (including) Skyrim everything was a trainwreck in plot/story, dumbified to the bone. At the time I've bought FO4 and even a GTX 970 mostly to wait for it. Waste of money, time and patience.

In case someone doesn't know, there are people (unfortunately too few) working on huge mods to bring Morrowind's world to new engines (i.e. Skyrim's). They call the project Skywind.

Right now it keeps with a huge potential but doesn't have the needed people to make it happen, so if you're interested or know anyone who could be - in helping out, please go see them:

Companies love the vicious contagion caused by the "Internet generalized freedom" (after all, free publicity) until something like that happens, then tries to censor it someway.

It's like when we have 10yo and get a nickname we hate at our new school: you don't get to change it. Live along and try make the best of it or die fighting it. The price of being/creating public anything in a no-man's-land (at the end, it is).

At some point in time the indie devs favorite platform to try, test, sell and (most often than it should be) f* users off had to fire back, right?

Sorry game developers, you can't win EVERY.SINGLE.SIDE of it. Steam tools seem a bit unprepared, yes, for this kind of issue (yet) - which let's agree: it was a "off the curve" episode to start with. So be patient, you're dealing with a huge platform that has tons of data, users, clients and investors to tak...

Like we ever will have manufacturers creating products that'll avoid us having to buy their next one 1-2 years later.

Nah, they got exactly what they wanted (the buy>obsolete/broken>next cycle) and I don't think this will ever change back.

This is actually great news. Microsoft once again filtering most toxic gamers from PC, ty.

I'm there with you, but very optimistic that will never happen, at least if CDPR continues to deliver like it does. It recently became the 5th-largest game dev in revenue. Let's not forget CDPR also is very public and explicit about its ways, miles away from EA's perspectives, only if it goes bankrupt, etc.

"The company opposes DRM in video games, and hopes that free downloadable content becomes an industry standard. CD Projekt considers maintaining their i...

I didn't play Destiny 1, 2 and probably never will but at this subject.. I think people is looking more at the "what they are doing" instead of the "what they aren't doing" part.

Think for a second: if wasn't it for that, the game would be, probably, a P2W. The corporate who agreed with the development/investment of the product sure put it like "microtransactions or not happening". Like Guild Wars 1/2, Path of Exile, and many other...

not to mention those good story cutscenes (for story mode), as soon as I felt a bit worn out by the game I was refreshed with a great plot.

the best thing IMO is they aren't a boring AAA publisher/dev so they go into very dark subjects once in a while. A.k.a. real life cases

If that wasn't enough they're bundled with ACTIVISION, which in the past was one of the best companies in the game industry, and now serves as the perfect example to prove that Satanic forces do exist and take over the best things amongst us D:

I have to agree with you because if this was a huge success (which anything near the ME trilogy could have achieved) as it is they would just keep doing it for the next games.

Anyways, the series is dead to me, they really ruined it this time, and I'm not even putting the weird faces and animations at the top of the list.

At the risk of being too naive myself, if it were EA or Ubisoft I would give this speculation some thought - but not CDPR, not them.

2545d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Please don't. Keep "console-only gamers" in their bubble thinking the best things they can play are their overpriced (thanks for that price rise, btw) limited games. If they come to PC and abandon all their loved AAA publishers and manufacturers game industry will probably implode.

So please, leave us PC "hackers/cheaters/allthat " alone in our dark and nasty corner, please. /JeBaited

After "dumbifying" and milking TES to death with Skyrim and (my personal) overall disappointment with Fallout 4, I would be lying if I say I expect great things from Bethesda as I used to do.

Even more now with PR terms like VR and 4K screaming louder than actual gameplay. It's sad, but my hype with Bethesda is over until they radically change what they are currently doing.

Seriously? No new information whatsoever about anything there, just an obvious opinion about the obvious - at least for anyone who follows the game industry/news/etc.

I agree and tbh, this is a really scumbag system if they can't pre-mod these automatically, they are 90% the same text..
