This was supposed to be out early fall 2007 (September 16, 2007).
They should have revelealed home at this year's E3 so it would have been ready and no one would have a negative thing to say about the whole ordeal.

Even if it comes out half-assed, it's to be expected because we know it's a beta.
Sony says they want to foster a community, well they're not doing it properly so far. This was their key advantage over Microsoft's platform.
I honestly expected to be in Home this July.
I'll be upfront. And considering they had running versions of it since 2 years ago, and everytime they show it, the program itself is working properly, the network is up, everything is more or less in place, even Home group game joining is in (which is all I really care about). I don't get what's the delay.

We're just beta testing for the Playstation 4 which will come with Home, in-game XMB, better Playstation Network, more Ram, better GPU (and from what we know it'll use an upgraded Cell chip).
If this is not a beta test, Sony should stop treating it's customers and this whole generation like a giant beta test.
The only thing getting tested is everyone's patience.

And I officially don't care about Home anymore.
All my top level university courses start this fall.

I don't know what they were thinking probably trying to run the Game ID website, the beta and the patch servers all from a single pentium 2 computer.
