I consider this man an artistic genius.
I have played the single player in person and i can tell you its a fantastic game. Only a few doubts i have about it:
1. Likely to be a short single player campaign
2. The cover system is automated and doesnt really work
3. The textures still lack a little detail in some places, definitely could do with a little more work.
Mostly though he gameplay, sound, lighting etc is fantastic.
Doesn't mean i'm going to buy vista. I'd rather donate straight to the aids fund than buy vista.

I got one! Its great. I had doubts but it feels really smooth, kinda like a PC MMO. Very easy to have a text convo with someone too.

It may not have been everything the hype said but it was still a fantastic game. Who cares about stupid little stuff like tanks etc?
The aim of GTA4 was to create a far more realistic world and it really succeeded in that and i enjoyed the game more than the previous storyless, repetitive games in the series.
Yes it had a few flaws, but to say its crap is just so idiotic.

I too feel bad for the people who do wrong and then claim on internet forums they are totally innocent.
I can think of one major thing i hate about Gears 1 over everything. Its an expansion to Gears 1. Same gameplay, same sound effects, same graphics, same characters. Its really quite boring to be honest. I did the original games campaign twice, once on normal and once on insane and i wouldn't want to play through it again - thats exactly what the 2nd game is feeling like now.
I have the game and i must say, judging on the single player only. Its a huge disappointment. I played through gears 1 twice until i got bored of the gameplay and the sequel doesnt change or improve on the gameplay at all. It feels like an expansion pack.
I have gears 2 and i can tell you it is just an expansion for the first game. Same graphics, same boring gameplay. Yawn.

I happen to somewhat agree with the article. Coming from Resistance 1 it feels as if something is not quite right with this beta. The whole style of gameplay and the weapons and everything just seems weirdly different and not in a good way.
Although i played the singe player at eurogamer expo yesterday and i have to say it is a big improvement of the multiplayer.

I found the Quantum of Solace demo rather boring. Cover system reminded me sort of Kane and Lynch but not automated. Shooting was ok. But the demo was ridiculously short.
Dissidia is ok for 10 minutes but boring. Got a japanese copy today. Gameplay better than expected. Reminds me of crisis cores hack and slashery.
