Many trailers do this actually. Its nothing new, and personally, I have no trouble with it.

In the MGS5 trailer you saw a scene with kids in a jail followed by a scene where Snake was shooting his rifle. Making it look like he shot the kids, giving the impression that snake has gone crazy, while he was actually ''acting'' for an audio tape.

Games have gameplay. Books rely entirely on stories. Games do not.
MGS 5 for me. I dont know why, I just didnt like The Witcher 3 so much. Lack of random encounters and long boring missions where I had to look for things using my wither senses. Got old fast.
I know MGS5 is repetitive too, but the gameplay makes each encounter so much fun.
Way to cliche and predictable. Neil Drunkmann said he didnt want to use any of those.
Also the good guy turning into an infected and his ''best friend'' has to shoot him is good writing? Not at all man! What Naughty Dog did to The Last of Us IS good writing.
