They let everyone enjoy their games(most of them).
I don't think a certain number of memory needs to be allocated to any one source, like on PC you have a total number of ram and the system uses what if needs along with any other programs or games.
Me I have 8GB, Windows 8 uses between 1-1.5GB, the rest is freed up for anything else.
How would they know the player is on his "last 15 minutes on gameplay"?
I've been playing the GTA series since the very beginning, but I guess have been growing out of it. I'm hoping GTAV is what pulls me back.

I think Steam had a major role in helping PC stay alive. Some of the best deals in gaming can be had on PC/Steam RIGHT NOW.

Its hard to believe because pc's customization potential is limitless on hardware and software.
It could be the most beautiful game in existence, but if the gameplay is boring than there's really no point for me.

That's the problem with big AAA titles, they invest so much that they NEED to make no small fortune just to break even.

Ehh their job isn't to care about us, its to make money. But I believe if they make an effort to care then the latter will follow.
Unless all these new games that have been announced will be released on the WIIU then I don't see it standing much of a chance of keeping up, not to mention outselling the PS4 or Xbox.
Plus most people want next gen hardware, not hardware that is somewhere in between. I will say that Nintendo was smart when they released the WIIU early, probably because they figured they would be overshadowed. But for me its all about the games and whoever has those games that's wher...
The PS4 and Xbone aren't showing me anything that I have to have.
