I played it originally on PC, and loved it so much that I bought orange box to play it again on my console when it came out. It was awesome playing it again on my big screen plasma HDTV.

You have to earn the damage feature by playing the game the right way, & levelling up first.

Everyone has an opinion...which is a cool.

But the article isn't stupid, because HL2 has often been voted as the best FPS ever by gamers over the years.

One of the all time best IMHO.

The game play is awesome. Now they need to hire a writer, and create an interesting story. Have the missions then follow the objective of the story. The first game was just "errand missions" that had no point, other than put you into combat.

Levelling up vs. game difficulty could use better balance. Especially when you bought DLC, depending what level your character was, it could really be out of wack. I often found the game too easy, and found no options to adjus...

When you are fighting the EDF sometimes, the "good guys" come rushing to your aid...and when doing so, run you over & kill you dead on the spot. DOH.

What part of the video was supposed to be a game glitch?

I recall reading comments from Kazunori Yamauchi at least a year ago that they were trying to balance realism with gaming. There was never any intent to make everything totally realistic, because after all, it is still just a game. In real race car driving, even a minor tussle often means you are out of the race, and your car is out of commission. That really wouldn't be fun in a game, would it?

IMO if you want to be taken seriously as a journalist, then write about something more serious than games.

I know that sounds harsh, but the reality is that many people who are not journalists create websites to talk about & review games. It is an arena full of amatuer fanboys that can't write without sounding childish, and have no logic or concept of a system to ensure unbiased reviews.

Too much bullshit going on in the Interent with GT5. Why is it that so many people who bought it are defending it against all the negative articles? Because they are not at all dissapointed with the game.

All these large companies are garbage when it comes to customer service these days. I have had some very rude punks give me the runaround at Sony when I tried to resolve an issue where a repaired PS3 broke again only months after they repaired it. The dudes hung up on me when I asked to escalate to a supervisor. The online complaint form turned out to be nothing more than an excercise in filling out a form that generates a form e-mail response. Total BS.

The funny thing about the endless comparisons is they are utterly pointless. If you have a 360, your only choice is Forza. If you have a PS3, your only choice is GT5. It is truely what can be described as an apples to oranges comparison.
