I actually hope they keep changing a lot of things to keep the gameplay modern. I'm not too happy about milking the product with 3 different episodes, but FF7-3 will probably be the hottest item of Holiday 2020.

Doubt it. All he had to do was ask Carmack "So where did you work before this?". Even a quick wikipedia search for 30 seconds would have brought up Zenimax.

Sony has been shutting studios and cancelling projects too. They just have way more studios and projects going on at once. For example, Motorstorm PS4 was cancelled when Evolution Studios was shut down, but no one knew about it until concept art was recently leaked. Microsoft prematurely announced a lot of games. Some worked out, some didn't.
And I have yet to see one in real life
