yea funny you say that. i have a 2 yr old perfectly working 80 gig ps3 with 2 usb ports no b/c. anyways, since it is getting aged and i usually keep my hardware "reasonably new" i called my gamestop here yesterday just for shits and giggles and asked them how much my ps3 would get in instore credit-
the dude looked it up and said 80 dollars! i laughed like hell on the phone and said see ya! i got the cash to buy a new one and since they said that im for sure keeping...

well said. zipper claims to wanted to appeal to a broader audience. that's their words/ reason. many, and i mean many are very pissed at socom 4 in it's current state. unless they fix the very big issues with this before or on release, i will not buy, i will rent for the campaign and co-op.
developers need to learn what made their games great and what people enjoyed about them, and build on those principles for their sequels, not gut all those features out and expect...

you see this is why i like 360. if i'm going to install something, let me install the whole damn thing. droids have to install part of the game, and their drives are still being used to play it, causing wear and tear. thing is, if i install the whole game or not the 360 version going to be the best again. i wonder if this will take 20 minutes,(dmc4 did) because there again i can install the WHOLE fucing game in 10 on 360. playing games with low resolution, blurry textures, no anti-aliasing, and constant framrate drops will hurt anyones vision that chooses to game on the playstation brand. no wonder the ps3 fanboys on n4g are so damn blind! if these folks jump in, then their vision will improve.

looking forward to this game. may 17th can't come quick enough. i been reading on it in one of my newer gameinformers and i think it will be a great and welcome change of pace from all the shooters coming out lately. yea i know this game will have shooting in it, but it won't be the whole gameplay or focus of the game.
hoping this game pulls me in as much some other great single player games have this gen- heavy rain, alan wake, and so on.
