Well If I'm not mistaken they canceled this game along with others, because of the Unreal code that they were not legally able to use in their games. When Silicon Knights sued Epic they got countersued and lost. So Silicon Knights had to pay them some money and destroy any projects they had with an Unreal code.
I would assume a super kick and a RKO are givens when they were creating this feature. Question though how the hell can you catch someone mid air into a Killswitch!?
I haven't played The Witcher, but I have played all the other games you mentioned. Half Life 2 is last gen, so that was irrelvant. Uncharted 2 is an excellent game, it did a good job in engrossing you into the story with its great characters, but the story itself wasn't exactly a masterpiece.
Lastly Bioshock's whole "story" revoloved around one plot twist, and that was it for that game. By the way MGS has had long cutscenes since MGS1, so counting that...
I rarely comment on here, and I half agree with the article. This year has been lackluster, and in fact I believe this gen as a whole is lackluster compared to the previous generations.
While this gen has its fair share of good games. MGS4 in my opinion is the greatest game this gen, and will stand the test of time. At first I didn't want a part 5, but honestly how many games this gen delievered amazing stories? This gen is all about online, and then that game is repla...
that Devil May Cry 4 outsold the original Devil May Cry even with two different platforms.
I used to work there for almost a year and on the holidays parents didn't care if a game had a seal or not, all that mattered was if it was in plastic. Most casual people who end up buying these games for others doesn't look for anything but the wrapping. Plus PSP,DS,PS2, and i think even the ps3 games doesn't always ship with the sealed copies, just ones with the shrink wrap.
Most Gamestops have shrink wrapping machines in the back. So they can easily play a new game, bring it back, shrink wrap it, and you'll never know. Its messed up, but honestly its not that big of a deal for me.
The pool was a good moment, but Squall jumping into space to save Rinoa completely crushed any romantic scene in any video-game ever. The game had so many romantic moments its pathetic that it never gets mentioned.
Your telling me the Xbox 360 is better because you can download a free swimsuit? Yeah... uh and I am not going to even to say a lot to the whole "MS is about quality gaming experiences" comment. All I have to say they may allegedly be all about quality gaming experiences, but apparently they missed the hardware part. Going on my 5TH 360 and counting; I'm allowed to be bitter.
"tell me, if i have to put up with all your moronic ps3 owners, why would i want the system, tell me."
"FYI i could really care less about being called a fanboy. i own mutiple systems, and i enjoy them. i only say crap, cause its so fun pissing you guys off. not to mention so easy."
Little contradition their Nai. Your above statement states you don't own a PS3 yet, and then your bottom statement says your not a fanboy because you own multipl...
"same goes for sony idiot. how many ideas do they have that they stole from nintendo and sega. you sony fans have your eyes shut, and your asses open."
So then I guess Nintendo stole the CD disc idea from Sony too? Companies use ideas if they work even if they didn't think of them themselves.
"keep in mind, A. sony did not make the first analog, nintendo did, the first ps1s did not ship with it. sony and nintendo where working to gether untill tru...
That really bothers me considering MGS2 was the first game to really show how a game can rival a movie in terms of visuals and storytelling. People tend to look down on it because of Raiden; while I may agree that might have been a mistake, the game was still amazing. Not to mention MGS2 set up the awesome conclusion for MGS4; with plenty of plot twists all the way until the end.
Considering I don't comment on this site often; MGS is just too amazing to voice my opinion on this...
... ::Sigh::
This is the reason why I got my PS3, and i was so right not to doubt Quantic Dream. It also helps that it reminds me of of Shenmue, and man that makes me too excited.
This generation didn't start until 2007. We had the Xbox 360 come out late 2005 with no "next gen" competition. Then we had both Nintendo and Sony come out with their systems late 2006. So actually in my opinion everyone should mark 2007 as the start of this gen, and that makes it seem like the years 2013-2015 seem a lot more realistic in a business sense, since gaming is becoming a lot more mainstream.
I am getting this game no matter what anyone thinks of it. This is one of the main reasons why I bought a PS3, and I wouldn't care if it got 1/10 or 1 hour install times whatever... I just want to play, enjoy, and beat that game already; I have been waiting too long for this just for people to try and give it something negative.
Why do they keep messing with my emotions with this game? Honestly this is that piece of news that annoys me just like the FF7 remake news. I hate rumors about things like this. Stop getting my hopes up, because I am trying to accept that Shenmue III isn't going to happen. When something says "OFFICAL" or "CONFIRMED" then I'll mark the hell out, but till then just leave my Shenmue series alone.
Enough said.
I wouldn't download that new content for free.... I seriously was so dissatisfied with it.
This is tough, because I love the Sega Dreamcast and the PlayStation 2, but if we are talking solely on a platform's list of games I would have to go with the PlayStation 1, way too many incredible games. FF7-FF9, Metal Gear Solid, Crash, Spyro, etc amazing system.
