If they didn't put their games on PC and Gamepass day 1 their games would be on the charts like the 360 days, but they don't want to do that and that's okay.

Netflix is the ONLY streaming service that is making a profit right now. In fact others are back to licensing their content to Netflix because that's a great revenue stream for them.

This COD is the last one under Sony's initial agreement, so yheyvsre allowed to bundle the game, but it won't happen anymore after this year.

People seem to be dreaming up ways why this is bad. Consolidation would happen anyway because Activision WANTED to sell. So, if Microsoft wasn't buying, someone else would be. I think that Microsoft buying them is the only reason why people are complaining imo.

FF is a bigger Franchise than Diablo, so that's not a good comparison. I mean it probably do better than a lot of other multiplats that have a smaller fantasy as well like Dead Island 2.

Neutralgamer92 Sony is the market leader, so the EU and CMA might not approve and that is the difference.

They also have to go through the regulators and now they are in the US news for their practices, so not so fast.

In a letter to Activision Blizzard employees, CEO Bobby Kotick told staff that he wants to “reinforce my confidence” that the acquisition will close. “The allegation that this deal is anti-competitive doesn’t align with the facts, and we believe we’ll win this challenge,” he said. The company also posted an internal email penned by Jeb Boatman, Activision’s SVP of litigation, regulatory, and public policy law, outlining its position on the deal.

Microsoft President Brad Smith signaled that the company would fight the lawsuit, saying in a statement that the company has “been committed since Day One to addressing competition concerns."

“While we believed in giving peace a chance, we have complete confidence in our case and welcome the opportunity to present our case in court,” Smith said.

It's only depressing because one company can buy it and the other one can't.

PS3 DIDN'T survive if you were in America(by about 18 million)or UK. 360 is the second best selling home console EVER in USA and UK. COD contributed to that a$$ whopping 360 gave PS3 in those territories.

Special or unique in terms of driving people to by other games. Sony says COD drives people to buy other games and Microsoft is saying that COD doesn't do that.

Clearly it doesn't bring in the revenue that COD brings in, so in terms of everything combined it is a mid-sized game compared to COD. How many COD games have been released since 11/11/11?

I'm pretty sure they are talking about the period that they have the marketing rights.
