It's obviously subjective and their opinion is valid. I'd probably give it a little lower, since it's a 8 to 10 hour FPS that's dressed up to be an MMORPGish title that you play for dozens of hours. It does require dozens of hours, but you're "deploying ghost" during the same missions over & over once you're level 20+. Borderlands does just about everything better and I'm not even a huge fan of that series.

If I keep getting good sniper rifles and don't use them, while my friend is getting the same luck with shotguns, then there's no reason why shouldn't be able to trade. OR when an engram gives me an item for a class I don't have.

Bungie half-assed and/or Activison made them hide stuff behind paid DLC, either way it's a fun but disappointing game.

I see more AC than Batman in Mordor. Since AC has melee weapons, arrows, violent counters, a more similar traversal system than Batman's gliding, etc. Batman reminds me more of Splinter Cell (if you play it the stealth way), since you're using gadgets to sneak up on guys and looking down from above.

I don't see anything sexy about her, but of course that's subjective. She looks undead with that crappy make up on. It looks like she's promoting a horror game.

Destiny is probably my second or third most played game of 2014 so far, so I can't say it's a bad game, but I do understand it getting 6 to 8 on the review scale. It's dumb fun with friends, with no story, no characters, horrible mission design, needs more content, etc.

The core of it, the gameplay, is great and so are the graphics, most other things are "meh". Most of the sites I go to didn't review Watch Dogs well either, which was another overhype...

It's all subjective. It seems like most gamers want video games to be treated like art, just like all other forms of entertainment, but then some people take it like a personal insult when a game they like isn't reviewed well.

It's a personal and subjective choice, just like when Roger Ebert gave a thumbs up or down. It's fine to disagree, but stop acting like it's a conspiracy or that the person was wrong by saying what they think.

I pretty much agree, I'd swap The Order and The Division though. Seems like most people who have played 1886 said it was an okay Gears of War game and that's how the trailers look so far. That's not bad, but that's not what I want. 90% of the time I like Ubisoft's Tom Clancy games and I wouldn't be surprised if it came out better than Destiny, since they have a similar MMOish shooter vibe.

I agree, the grinding that's needed when you're 20+ is too much and its boring. There not being enough content to back it up and the loot system being completely random hurts it even more. The top 3 guys in crucible should be rewarded, not the guy with 2 kills/11 deaths.

It's not a weird or complicated game... it's Borderlands with a little bit of Warframe and Diablo mixed in.

Maybe I should've said pay to play considering they give you the worst 2 or 3 suits for free, who are really lame, then you spend days collecting parts for the good frames and days real-time waiting for it to build.

Out of principle I won't support F2P games with this silly mobile game format. I'd rather pay $20 or $30 for all other characters, but one hero used to cost over 12 dollars. In Smite you get over 50 characters for $30. In Path of Exile, Loadout, etc you...

It could be a good game if it didn't have an awful business model. It has one like a dumb mobile or Facebook game. The construction time on suits and weapons can last days (real-time) or you spend real money and it's pay to win. It's not a good model like Smite and Loadout have. Might as well buy Destiny or get ME3 cheap.

The lead actor from Hell on Wheels would be a great fit (image below). Odds are, someone super established wouldn't risk it on a video game movie unless they have some creative control (like with Fassbender).

The game looks awesome, so turning Samus (who used to be a badass warrior covered in armor) and giving her a trampy outfit is overkill IMO. Sex does sell, but they should do it in less obvious and sexualized ways.

They bring that point up on the show. Maybe people should read (or in this case listen) to content before saying it's wrong.

It's not an MMO or RPG at all. It's basically just a walk from point A to B shooter with friends if you'd like, kill all the enemies there, and you might see 4 or 5 random people in-between. The story has you fighting "the darkness" lol. It'll be an okay game, but it's just Halo with a little bit of Borderlands mixed in.

I'm looking more forward to Dragon Age, especially if the rumored multiplayer is there and as good as Mass Effect 3's. ...

lol @LightDiego, it sounds like she sucks. I have no problem with the host "cheating" at Witcher 2. It's a single player so it only affects him.

Maybe people on N4G should read articles and listen to podcasts before commenting? What they said regarding the PS4 lineup had nothing to do with E3 and they were talking about the 2014 lineup. With Batman, The Order, etc getting delayed they have a point. Even if the podcast was recorded after E3, the only thing that has changed this year is LBP3 coming out, which isn't a game changer.

I just listened to the The Order part (I skipped to it and will listen to the rest later), but I got where they were coming from. It looked great graphically, but the gameplay looked like Gears or any other 3rd person shooter. They should've shown monsters, unique guns, etc. I want the game to be good since I have a PS4, but that trailer and footage was a slight misstep IMO.

I usually don't click/comment on flamebait, but playing 2K14, BF4, Black Flag, etc on a next gen console for 4+ months is worth less than a $100 in savings. Not to mention the deal is only in the UK, so who cares unless you live there.

In general, I hate articles that try to tell me how to spend my money. "There's no point in getting a console at launch" is completely subjective. If I didn't get one at launch then I would've been stuck playing GTA O...

They should focus on the game types that the majority of their fans like and actually play. I get where you're coming from, but BF is synonymous with conquest. Bad Company was a spinoff series and the maps being so urban/symmetrical and less vehicle focused lent itself well to the game mode.

Yeah, I have to agree with most people here and the hosts that no co-op or horde mode does kinda suck. I'll still play the game if it seems fun, but $60 for a 10 to 25 hour third person shooter? Thank goodness I have Gamefly.
