You could say the same about the original Infamous and the Uncharted 2 beta. Didn't stop me from enjoying 2 new great ips at the time.
Yes the second Crackdown was underwhelming but I still had a lot of fun especially with the multiplayer. My point was that expectations could play a big role. If you're looking for a flagship title demonstrating the power of the XboneX odds are you'll be disappointed. I'm looking to jump back into a franchise I've spent ...
I think it'll come down to personal expectations, I really enjoyed the original and even had some fun with the sequel which really under delivered at the time but...
The series has a solid formula, Crackdown 3 doesn't look visually impressive but if they can capture the fun factor from previous titles it'll be worth it to me.
Serious untapped potential in that franchise. Sadly MS shot down Lionheads vision of a darker, grittier sequel in favor of Legends.
That's a shame if true. FO NV is the only one I haven't played but I've seen and talked to several people who revere it as their favorite in the recent series. And ESO is proof BGS would be willing to let someone else tinker with TES, even if it's not cannon. Oh well, wait and see I guess.
I get the motivations to keep milking the game, big companies like money, beloved title on newer platforms, and the rare few that haven't played it.
That just doesn't cut it man. Skyrim launched in 2011 selling 20 million+ copies last gen alone. I know BGS didn't want to be known for just a TES-FO-TES-FO cycle. But given the current projects they're working on TESVI probably won't see the light of day till 2022-2023. That's 11-12 years between, that...
As a massive TES fan I really wish Skyrim would die already. Move on BGS
Crackdown 3 was pretty underwhelming, honestly MS's conference completely failed to sell me on XboneX. I mean we waited a year to see "the monster" but where were the games? New Ori? Lucky Tale? Not exactly system sellers. In fact the most impressive games were all multiplats. Then that $499 price point, MS seriously botched E3.
My biggest disappointment however was no Bethesda Games Studios game announcement i.e. Starfield
Sad but true
Thank you. Just another vocal minority trying to grab the spotlight. Don't give it to them
Man I still think about how great a current gen Motorstorm coulda been.. Driveclub was fine, visually stunning, but an unnecessary risk imo
Bottom line, games move consoles. If MS crush it at E3 than I might buy in at that price, but not with the current lineup
$399 would be much tougher to pass on, but I seriously doubt Scorpio will launch only $100 more than Switch
An honest list would have been severely one sided for PS4, these guys were just trying to appeal to as many fans across as many platforms as possible.
I mean they state their criteria excludes stylized games and then almost immediately place MK8 on the list. The WiiU version no less
The original came out over 10 years ago to moderate success, for all intents and purposes this is a reboot of the franchise. Not hating on the original but it didn't produce a sustained series of success, it'd be strange if Arkane tried to replicate what Human Head did.
Those games are not highly anticipated for zombies, because "zombies" the genre. The suffusion of zombie content is however starting to get pretty fucking old.
Hopefully GG will simply expand in size to accommodate for multiple game development a la ND with Uncharted and TLoU
Very cool, I had no idea this wan an option! But can it be used an animated background as Bathyj suggested? Great idea btw man
Fun.
Right! I just platinumed the other day but still don't wanna sell it, even with Nier calling my name. I just know at some I'm gonna want to dive back into the awesome world GG created
Same, though the footage I've seen is compelling evidence for a massive disappointment, I played the entire original trilogy multiple times, and I'm pretty invested in the lore and universe. There's just no way I can pass, I know vote with my wallet, I shouldn't support shitty publishers or rushed games, but goddamn I've been waiting for new ME for a long damn time. If I get burned so be it, but it'll the fact that one of my favorite franchises is probably ruined that&...
Pretty sure the dude driving played in Tucker and Dale vs Evil haha
