Or maybe Sony had the more consistent message of where they wanted to take their console this gen. I'll eventually buy a second hand X1, but they tried pulling a fast one on the community with the initial used games policy and that left a sour taste in my mouth.
The guy who sold his console because of limited content choices, purchases an even more expensive 4K HDTV with even more limited content choices.
Standard gravity being equal to 9.80665 m/s is a fact. Your opinion towards a video game is subjective.
@torchic, what sonarus said still makes the most sense. They had excess supply and to get rid of their inventory one strategy is to lower price. The company I work for does that all the time and is microeconomics 101.
One of the great things about an open market is that the consumer decides what sticks around. If this game is successful then it is a reflection of our current culture, not something that will cause our culture to change. The correct course of action if you dislike this game is to convince others not to buy it rather than attempt to censor it.
Can anyone explain why Polygon's rating is N/A? It seems a site like this would already have an established rating.
You must be lost
They really should use Chloe. I watched Should I Stay recently and while the movie was crap, I did think at one point she would make a great Ellie
I agree, doing this stuff was too time consuming on LBP2. I had a somewhat functional recreation of Onett from Earthbound, but gave up after finishing the map and Ness sprite.
Wait, what? I ended up playing the first two right before the third came out and I thought they got progressively better with the third being the best. The airplane part alone was one of the most memorable moments of last gen for me.
40 minutes isn't that bad. Ten years ago you could easily lose 15-20 hours of progress because of a faulty or lost memory card. You get angry, leave the game alone for several days, then get back on that horse.
"Companies that make 20 billion a quarter don't make bad decisions"
You could almost say they're too large to fail. Seriously though, all companies are comprised of people, those people make mistakes, which means all companies make mistakes.
If the TWC-Comcast merger happens, it will be a long time until internet speeds match consumer demands for mass digital content. Not to mention the whole internet fast lane bull that would drive cost of content up.
If those two things happen, we (at least in the US) will be buying physical copies for a few decades still.
Ali, the main installments went backwards in terms of a main feature (destruction). Running through a town while tanks and rockets destroy all the buildings around you was such a satisfying experience that BF3 and 4 were almost dissapointing.
The argument is bogus. It's like saying you don't want games to have cutting edge graphics and AI because it makes it harder for other companies to compete on that level. If this game is successful you won't see every developer chasing Bungie to spend money they don't need to spend.
Of all the consoles left off the list, the SNES should have been on there.
I think they are referring to the biblical rapture
Or it is based on the HULC exoskeleton suit being develeped in real life:

Alot of it has to do with price elasticity. Basically demand is higher on consoles so the price helps level it out with supply. For PC demand is relatively lower so a lower price boosts demand.
Not hating on PC with the whole demand thing, just read quarterly statements from big publishers once in a while.
I'm fine with the direction they're going, but am a little concerned that the quests are going to suffer for it. A huge semi-online world is great, but not if it feels empty.
