you're right, graphics arent as good as killzone and UT3 multiplayer will be amazing, but that doesnt mean Halo 3 wouldnt sell on the ps3, if it were to go multiplat everyone would buy it
this information doesnt really matter, but good for the people buying the ps3
i'm a ps3 only owner, and i have to say this game looks like a lot of fun. the graphics and lighting are great, gameplay and multiplayer will be in a league of its own for awhile. i dont think it's the best looking game that will be out but it's definitely a title i would like to play
i'm pretty sure this will hit the ps3 and 360 aswell, would've gone on the wii if nintendo actually made a next gen console

yea that's true, but support and demand for blu ray will be low resulting in a higher cost to produce because mass production will be off, and that would also mean (if hd-dvd comes out superior) that the ps3 wouldnt be able to play any usefull HD format, only dvd.
as for umd goes that was never meant to be a useful format, it was only inteded for use on the psp, the fact that movie support on umd failed only means that people were not interested in watching movies on psp
MS isnt really dependent on HD-DVD because they didnt package it with there system, it's only an add on so if HD-DVD fails only the attatchment fails on the 360, not the whole machine like what would happen to the ps3 if blu ray fails
well i personally think rock band is overrated, it's great there's no doubt about that but it definitely wasnt the best thing at e3
i doubt microsoft would like to do that, they require people to pay to play online, and if people who dont pay (ps3 owners) are able to play with the 360 owners microsoft wouldnt be happy

i'm not really interested in this game anymore, they delayed it to the point that i dont really want it anymore. but it still surprises me that there's going to be a demo for it on PSN, we dont get too many 3rd party demos, this should be a nice demo
i never thought the core system was a good idea, no hdd and wired cables really isnt a good purchase, and i think most buyers would be glad to hand over an extra $100 for the pro system
i thought the deal was R* makes GTA multiplat and Sony gets the next great exclusive from R*
