You know what? I've had some of the best gaming sessions with my friends with fighting games.
Sure, it eventually devolved into dick-punching distractions to win a round, but still, it's one of the reasons that I love the fighting genre, because nothing builds a friendship better than beating your friend mercilessly into a digital bloody pulp.
I doubt we'll see the end of Shiggy Stardust. Not until he releases The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker on the 3DS. Make it happen Shiggy!

I'm not even that big a petrol-head, and I want to play this game.
It looks sublime.
I've got to disagree with you there, because as it stands, Forza is definitely the better racer.
Its had a year to improve itself over GT5, and the car physics and visuals are simply sublime, to put it bluntly.
At the end of the day, that's what counts, and it will only mean that the inevitable GT6 will have to push itself that much harder in order to produce a better product.
Who knows, maybe in a couple of years, I'll be betting...

So thankful that certain race-killing issues such as longer pit stops have been ironed out of this edition of F1.
Until we get out of the mindset that innovation is not worth the risk, we're always going to be stuck with said generic shooters.
It doesn't have to be multi-million dollar project, but if some effort is put towards making new and exciting games, that can lift us out of our current jaded funk.
But super-excited to be getting my hands on this tomorrow. Its been a dry season for the last two months, and Deus Ex officially kicks off the quality period of games for us this year :)
I'm actually kinda sad that I framed my map instead of turning it into a wallet.
