They are for saps, mostly...making you pay for a game you've already purchased before. Nintendo is great at preying on suckers and Sony and Microsoft appear to be following suit. I guess slightly shinier graphics and trophies are enough for some people.

We can only hope...two things have me worried though. Cryptic (obviously) and the fact that it's wayyyy too bright and cartoony. Here's hoping it'll play right, cause if it's another auto-target, auto-attack fest like every other outdated MMO, it will fail big time.
One of my most anticipated games. My only hope is that they can get at least one game out the door before EA messes it up coughDragonAge2cough. If it does turn out well, I'm not sure how people are going to react to the series being turned into an MMO.
I hope it is harder. Demon's Souls was great but not terribly challenging once you got the hang of it.
