Ps5 is no slouch compared to xsx infact ps5 is the better console in a lot of ways. 15% more gpu power does not negate over twice as fast ssd and data handling throughout the rest of the system. Unified ram pool with faster consistent speed across the pool and tempest engine along with that awesome I/O controller literally destroys the equivalent technology inside XSX by a very large margin. The CPU speeds are the same, come on you know windows gonna hog more than that 0.1gh...
Yo the ps3 slim was legit. I agree with you but there is a small diehard fan following for the og 60gb. Personally mine was loud and hot compared to the 320gb slim i upgraded to. And it was indeed an upgrade!
All about efficiency man. Its a closed system apposed to PC. So all the extra stuff Cerny added to the board removing the need for certain processes to be done by the cpu/gpu and even at all in some cases. Also able to load up higher quality assets faster which translate into graphical quality without reducing frame time. The speed in which the gpu can be fed data matters. The speed in which the entire system can process data matters. If it were slower in all these areas it affects everything...

The I/O controller and various other parts of the system have been heavily customised to deal away with the bottlenecks typically accociated with what you are referring to.
This level of efficiency is not a thing in the pc world nor the new xbox sx for that matter, at least not to the same extent in the latter.

DS4 is much better controller compared to the xbox controller and ive always wondered why people never seemed to mention it just blindly repeat the herd mentality that xbox controller is the best in the world. Its really not. Far from it.
Play fps games or even minecraft on xb1 then on ps4 and you will be shocked at how much better the joysticks respond and how smooth they are on ps4.
Whats the point of your comment? The pro consumes way more power, runs alot hotter ergo heating up my gaming room and its loud as shit on lots of games. And in my opinion the difference in resolution wasnt worth all that as games already look great.
I have a ps4 slim and it runs games damn well on my 4k tv. Looks great thank you very much. Personally im really excited for ps5.

Ps5 is all about this as well as awesome graphics ontop of banger exclusive games and good 3rd party deals and an awesome controller.
