I loved the Turrican games as a kid. I pre-ordered the ultimate edition as soon as I found out about it... and then cancelled my pre-order the following day, once I'd calmed down. :P It's quite overpriced for what it is, though I'll definitely be buying the actual games at some point, as long as they haven't messed them up somehow. :)

I might be misunderstanding what you're saying, but unless those 'operations maps' are all loaded into RAM at the same time, I don't think that the increased amount of RAM would affect a PS4 Killzone in the way you're imagining (though you would be able to have much bigger maps). Increased customisation and complexity, sure; since the RAM is where the CPU and GPU keep their working data set, one of the main benefits of the massively increased system R...
They did indeed double the RAM in the PSP 2000, but the additional 32MB is only used for caching.
Heh. :) I wouldn't let the absence of trophies deter me from playing a game, but it is nice to have them; that way, other people can see which games I've enjoyed and put a lot of time into. Not to mention that trophies acquired by accomplishing tasks that require actual skill -- such as Demon's Souls platinum or Uncharted's Crushing Mode trophies -- are always fun to collect. :D

This reminds me of when the first Crysis came out. There were people who were upset that they couldn't set their PCs to run it at the highest graphical settings. It's as though they couldn't handle the idea of a game being future-proofed by having quality levels that were, for the time being, beyond their reach; they would rather that the highest quality setting...
For a second I read that as "it's a given we will see a new game every year until we die".
The Rotgland Lobber and Electropylon Driver (<3) are great against drones (and most things, TBH), because they do so much damage over time. You can hit them and then hide behind a wall or a closed door, while your enemies casually die/explode on the other side. 😄
