I like some parts of Destiny, it could be a reallly amazingly good game but it falls way short of that.
The reality is with Destiny is that it is just a DLC Delivery System.
It lacks content because they just want to milk the customer again and again with DLC.
The thing is, the gameplay mechanics in Destiny are great, it is solid and addictive gameplay...
I have Move and it is a good (but under utilised) piece of kit. It could do with more killer games, but I definitely would use it over Kinect.... although the Kinect camera plus the Move controller could be interesting!
I think the easy and simple way to make it awesome would be to just add analogue sticks, I can just imagine playing Skyrim with analogue stick equipped Move controllers, using bow and arrows, sword and shield, or casting spells... it would definitely be epic! ...

It's not a Brit thing, it would be more an ignorance thing. But in Zealous's defense he does say "sales" first in his comment and then changes to "sells", so it was probably just an easy mistake in his case.... I can't speak for any of the other instances you mention on N4G though.... I'm guessing that's down to stupidity!
I have a years PS plus subscription and it is definitely worth the money!
When Plus first came out I had no interest in it at all, but it has proved itself to be very good value for money, particularly for those who spend a lot of time gaming.
I don't spend that much time gaming now as I realised I should make better use of my time, but I would still recommend plus to anyone as for that price you are getting a good deal.
That said though....
In fairness to Fallout 3, it was how it was supposed to be..... a Wasteland!
I understand what you are saying about a lot of it looking the same, but then it is meant to be a bleak, endless wasteland left over from a nuclear apocalypse.
I personally liked the feel of an unwelcoming devastated wasteland as that is exactly what I expected. I do however agree that it needs some sort of variation in some places, although done in the right way... like perhaps a ma...

Yeah the Desmond parts are the worst part of the game, although they didn't have to be.
In the first game the Desmond parts were not too intrusive and added that conspiracy feel to the game, but when they got expanded they just got plain boring and took away from the game rather than added to it!
In Revelations (which I still haven't got around to completing) I found whenever I was in a Desmond sequence I'd just be trying to rush it as it felt lik...

lol I'm 100% sure that it is Spinning Bird Kick... it was called that in the manual for the game when I got it back in the day.... for both the Sega Megadrive version, and the Amiga 500 version!
That was the original version for Amiga, and Hyper Fighting for Megadrive.....

I enjoyed it when I played it, the only reason I didn't keep playing is because none of my mates wanted to download it due to the large file size.

Competition is good for us consumers, it keeps prices from becoming too inflated and insures that all parties need to keep pushing the boundaries to ensure they are fighting to be cutting edge so that we buy more of their product than their rivals....

I realllly like the idea of this game, but unfortunately I think it will end up disappointing as it will not live up to the hype.
I think some people who just like randomly exploring a VERY large area will enjoy, but for most it will not have the content or gameplay to impress for long.
Great concept though.... Just imagine making a procedural generating engine that also has addictive gameplay like something such as Destiny, and then filling the world/univers...
