Actually, I sort of agree with you. If you can't even down somebody with an active reloaded sniper bullet, it's probably not worth sniping. That was probably why they took it out, but I never had a problem with sniper whores on Gears, it was the shotgun whores that pissed me off.
I've already long ago decided that if they don't make the shotgun more fair in the next game I wont be playing multiplayer. Still getting the game regardless though.

You mean like the Ipod? And HDTVs? And graphics cards? That's technology for you. Look up Moore's law, every item of computerised technology is considered obsolete within two years. It sucks, but that's how technology works.

No No NO. Wrong. In the business world, if you aint PROFITABLE, you're last. Selling more 360s than PS3s isn't a major priority for Microsoft. It's important they do because higher market share means more income. But they'll just as readily settle for a profit.
If you're under the impression that Microsoft have "lost" because they aren't selling more 360s than PS3s, you don't understand business at all.

Of course they learned. I don't know why people always assume they figured something out that a massive corporation hasn't. If a bunch of gamers realise the importance of the next console being reliable, then you can guarantee Microsoft do as well.
If that's not good enough to settle your doubts, then consider that Microsoft lost millions on the free repairs of faulty consoles. If one thing can teach a business not to repeat past mistakes, it's loss of money.
It's not like they...

I doubt Microsoft would sound desperate. They pay good money for reps who could sound confident no matter what they're telling you.
I'm looking foward to E3, but judging by the last few E3s, they'll probably just tell us more about the games we already know about, announce a couple of small new titles, run of some sales and download figures and finish up with gameplay footage of Gears 2, which would be welcomed but wouldn't show much.
I want to see some Fable 2 and Gears 2 gamep...

holy... I thought the comments were overexaggerating... I'm going to assume that's an early development build, or that it's a Nintendo DS game.

@ 1.8 dan-boy

I have to disagree. Not in the "clicking disagree" sense, but in the more mature "verbal" sense. I loved the Halo 3 campaign and felt it was certainly overhyped, but turned out to be a great experience anyway. Excellent balancing, cinematic action and an astounding scale with no noticable drop in frame rate. It was a non-stop solid action fest, with incredible refinement. The co-op was fantastic too, me and my friends could really cut loose the...

I started learning the guitar once, when I was a young teenager. You know how it is, as some point every teenage boy believes learning the Guitar will help him get girls.

I hated it. Aside from the fact that my hands were too big to comfortably play certain notes on a standard sized guitar, it stripped the skin off my fingers and gave me calloused fingertips. Plus, I just didn't have the time to learn how to play.

I play the clarinet, and very well if I might s...

clever guy. Suddenly his outspoken praise of Microsoft makes sense. He was just securing a landing pad, for when he chucked a handgrenade at the CEO and threw himself through the plate glass window just before the abnormally large explosion, before landing on his microsoft escape jet. Action movie stylee.

Good! oh man that pissed me off!
Me: Attack!
team: got it!
*team sits around shuffling their feet*
me: Attack! Attack! Attack!
team: got it!
*team look around and shoot at random locust*
me: Regroup!
*team stare at wall*

*sigh*.

I don't know if this is true or not, and i'm not going to try and guess. But for those suggesting it should be on PS3 and Wii, but not 360, that wouldn't happen. Square Enix are multiplatform developers, if Sony lose the exclusivity rights for it, it would go to all 3 consoles. Stop being such babies.

Just once. Just ONE fu**ing time, I would like to see a news article about Gears of War, where nobody mentions Resistance.

let's face it, DarkArcani, if the mods allowed the word "squeeble", everyone would call eachother squeeble-heads.

5839d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

I'm not too worried about that sentence. To me, "chippable" could also mean it chips away till there's nothing left, which is actually better than "destructible" which sounds to me like "you shoot it and it blows up", like the chairs and fruit produce you get in most games.

After 429 comments in the alleged "Gamer Zone", I have ascertained that alot of you think it's crap, alot of you think it's awesome, and alot of you didn't watch the trailer per se, you just stopped by to criticise the aforementioned two groups.

See, this is why I don't listen to people often.

Remember kids, that's what happens when you anticipate it too much and get too excited. You finish way too fast.

Can't be all bad. I've always wanted to shoot a paedophile, and if this game lets me, then brilliant.

I was about to say the same thing. At 400% zoom, the difference is irrelevant. It's like saying "My car has smoother paint at a microscopic level"
