And hey, third parties kinda have the other bases covered.

Playstation has the absolute best in class third person, narrative driven, action adventure RPGs and I’m super ok with that.

You sound like those empty BOTW critics.

Games get 10s when they deserve it.

Begin on the first game.

You’d kinda be lost starting on the second.

So what about posting a blurry photo of a guy in a eye patch while people think your game is connected to Kojima?

Genuine question… What is it like to be a “die hard Xbox fanboy? Like what exactly are you a fan of?

I can understand during the 360 era but for the past two gens there was almost nothing given to the fans.

How can you still be one at this point?

Say what you want but Playstation really delivers the goods when it comes to epic top tier exclusives.

November 9th can’t come soon enough!

(Still wish it was a next gen exclusive though)

Plague Tale Requiem actually feels like a true next gen game despite releasing from a small developer.

There is great DualSense feedback on PS5.
Amazing graphics and lighting
Ridiculous number of rats on screen at a time
Amazing set piece moments that feel like they may not be possible on PS4

Amazing what devs can do when they actually drop 10 year old last gen systems.

I just wish other developers would do th...

Franchises need to constantly and successfully reinvent themselves to keep entries from getting stale.

Look at GOW (PS) and Zelda. Those are examples of franchises that successfully evolve yet keep their core DNA.

That’s what the Gears franchise needs right now.

One of the best games I’ve ever played in my life.

IMO, it is worthy of every 10/10 it received.

5 years later and I still play games and feel like they are so restrictive and force you to do things only one way as intended by the designer.

Gaming medium would be better of with more games influenced by BOTW gameplay philosophy.

Take Horizon: FW (one of my favorite games of all time as well). The puzzles can only be s...

Nah I like 30. Better graphics.

@Bioshock.

Yes it looks amazing.

Question: what did you do when the most games on ps4 was 30 fps. Did it hurt your eyes then too?

575d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Its not just the flick of a switch like you imagine.

Alot of optimization and dev time is required.

575d ago 1 agree3 disagreeView comment

60 fps isn’t better.

Any game running at 60/4k can add more graphical detail and complexity to the game and run at 30fps.

It comes down to do you prefer the maximum graphical quality out of your console or do you want lower graphics with more frames.

Until the day the we have perfectly photorealistic games I would choose 30 fps with higher graphics every single day.

575d ago 1 agree3 disagreeView comment

I prefer realistic tree branches than blurry 60fps.

4k, 30 max graphics every day for me.

Plague Tale looks more next gen than 95% of PS4/PS5 60 fps games.

Did you play PS1,PS2,PS3 and PS4 or their equivalents from the competitors?

575d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Plagues Tale looks so good and its from a small developer.

Better than alot of those cross gen games from much bigger studios.

I played Horizon at 30 fps on a 55” TV and loved every second

575d ago 8 agree5 disagreeView comment

Me too. Regardless of the FPS i stop noticing it after 5-10 minutes of play. Whereas, bad graphics or resolution I notice it the entire time.

Death Stranding is one of my favorite games of all time.

@Tacoboto

I’m a Sony guy through and through and the delusion in the thinking here really baffles me.
