The whole "don't get me wrong it's a great game" phrase is the most overused phrase in N4G history. Just say "overrated" and get it over with. That phrase doesn't give credit to anything, it's just a disagree button shield that didn't seem to work in your favor.

I haven't seen another game this decade innovate while combining the best elements in gaming together as much as HL2 did. It's still one of the best looking games too without even needing heavy requirements from a PC.
I'm waiting on Pikmin 3 and Bayonetta 2 to get one. As far as game comparisons, we all know Nintendo has a track record of .putting more emphasis on gameplay than graphics of a new console

I was just like most people and thought a Final Fantasy MMO would suck, but Final Fantasy XI turned out to be one of the best games I've ever played (before the most recent updates where you can leave your computer on and max out your level in a day). People still play it on PC, PS2, and 360 after 8 years from there being so much to do in the game.

Yeah the best bet would be to price the 80 gb to $500...but then the 60 gb people that just bought their PS3s now would be pissed, unless Sony is thinking "eh they got 5 free blu-ray movies they'll be fine" while the 80 gb gets a bigger hard drive and motorstorm..

And then on July 26th, the PS3 is bundled with Hot Shots Golf 5 for the Japanese and already has 300,000 preorders. The next-gen script is really starting to turn around for Sony, woo hoo!
LOL @ Nintendo passing PS2...yes Wii Fit will help out alot. By 2008, I'm not sure if the Wii's graphics will be able to hold up. They're ok to look at now, but while the 360 and PS3's graphics start looking even better, the Wii's graphics will only maybe be a little better than the first Xbox, if that. Yes normally gamers say graphics aren't everything, but this generation it seems they're going to play a major roll in gaming. DirectX 10 as well the PS3 and 360 are showing off some good ...

I like Sony and all...but I'm noticing this change of balanced news as well. It was refreshing to see good news for Sony, but now that the 360 is starting to get bashing articles it's starting to get annoying again..

Personally I think they improved this year over the last few years: most notably because the typical games didn't win the awards, and shows that you can't win just off of name and past reputation alone (for once).
Samuel L Jackson was about as good as he could be I guess. I liked the Walking Dead segment just because I remembered that part in the game.
