Even better that I got mine for free, from work, in a competition, which i rigged, coz the prize was a ps3.
now i get to play mgs4, ff13, lil big planet etc... wirelessly (hopefully soon to get me rumble)

well, that's cool, looks like i won't need an xbox to play some of their games, i can play em thru my 1.8 duo core cpu, 1 gig ram lappy, well, hopefully some of em. if not, i ain't worried. I'll be glued to my ps3 games =)

yup it'd be weird playing this on a different console, it wouldn't have that DMC effect as it does on Sony's console - all DMC1,2 & 3 players would agree. Well I hope so... LoL
Well, I konw quite a lot of people don't wanna experiment with their PS3's HDD, just in case, if ya know what I mean.
How about using an external/portable HDD, move everything (media files only, of course) from the PS3 and PC/lappy to the external HDD and leaving their PS3's HDD for gaming only and your HDD for backup and media source.
(One thing I haven't tried for the time being is creating a playlist for music to be played back from the external HDD, will this...
I guess store clerks would risk a silly move like that for a PS3, who wouldn't? LoL

I agree with ya, MG4 is gonna be jam packed, I dunno how much Hideo has squeezed into that Blu ray, but dang, it'll definetely make systems crash if they were to even put in other gaming consoles cd tray, LoL. It'll probably blow up when it closes!
I guess if you were to port it over to the 360, quite a few things would be cut out, so for example, facial expresions, physics ummm... and other things...
