All I'm wondering is what made them think using a 360 for this was a good idea and what did they do before the 360 was released? Don't they have regular TV/cable/satellite remotes? WTF?

I don't use my PS3 controller to rewind my DVR. I use the DVR remote.

DDM.tv is just a website, nothing more.

This has nothing to do with porn on PSN. The PS3 has a web browser, so it can access porn, just like any PC.

There is no issue here!

This might be a stupid question, but if your mouse has a DPI greater than the resolution you're running the game at, how does that make a difference?

The smallest amount you can move your pointer/reticule on screen is 1 pixel, so how does a high DPI help?

You need to switch the audio upscaling off (set it to 48KHz output instead of 44.1/88.2/whatever).

^^^
I don't think long-standing corporations like Sears (K-Mart) do things like that. That would severely damage their reputation and just piss people off.

*sigh*

Why is it so hard to fathom that people who already own a PS3 would be excited about a slim. Use your imagination, people.

1. Slim PS3 + price drop = increased hardware sales.
2. Increased hardware sales = more players online, including IRL friends.
3. Increased hardware sales also = more software sales.
4. More software sales = continued developer support and more games.
5. More games = more fun.

^^^ Actually, if you look closely at the boxes shown on here last week, they took the HDMI cable out of the Elite.

He's not talking about charging gamers to play online, he's talking about a subscription service that would allow you to download whatever you want and just pay a flat monthly fee instead of for each individual game. Think Zune Marketplace, but for games.

They could even tie-in Cialis ads to offer you products to increase your 'vitality.' :D

Is there any confirmation that Sony is even involved in this? This could just be a Blu-ray disc that uses BD-Live to download movies from the web. If that's what it is, it has nothing to do with the PSN and nothing to do with Sony. It could be played on any BD-Live-capable player.
