PS4 and XB1 have plenty of games that will be fun at launch.
It's as if they see PS4 as a sexy model!? newsflash both consoles are plastic boxes. I am buying both but admit neither are particularly amazing to look at.
The 360 is the only good looking console ever made imo. All the playstation family (except psp and vita) are ugly.

Halo 4 multiplayer was cool but for me got pretty boring pretty quickly, if they can get back to the addictiveness that I found in 3 and reach - awesome, I am hoping for big things.

I couldn't care less if it's 720, the graphics aint all that anyway, I buy games to have fun not freak out over resolutions... I will let all the my little sony fanboys take care of that.

Franchises don't HAVE to stick to the same environment/period in time... look at FarCry...

Yup. It's the old PHAT, to be fair, it's served it's time... my first 80gb fat only lasted 3 months but Sony had my current one delivered to my door free of charge the next day after speaking to their customer services... I was very pleased in their efficiency in that regard.
I don't really want to have to buy ANOTHER PS3 or 360, as I say I am just hoping both companies come up with a decent plan for backwards compatibility, if that means paying full price for...
Saying that, my 80gb PS3 has started getting louder and LOUDER over the last couple of months... I hope it's not dying on me. Much louder than my elite360...
I hope Sony and Microsoft find a consumer friendly way to implement backwards compatibility as both my current gen consoles are showing signs of tiredness... every few weeks my 36o will freeze for a couple of minutes and then return to normal... only seems to happen in Borderlands 2 though so could be a software glitch.
I am pretty certain Gears will be multiplat next gen, otherwise it seems odd Microsoft have kept schtum about it...

Here in the UK me and most of my friends are getting the xbox first, I will be buying both consoles but a few people I know will just stick with the xbox.
