Blizz would have to 1. Evolve the ARPG genre like Lost Ark is doing (and yes, as much as you don't want to admit it, like Marvel Heroes did to a degree), and 2. Completely re-do the art direction so it's not World of Warcraft cartoony, and unfortunately current Blizzard won't do any of that.

My god the hacking and slashing with a glowstick combat looks awful. I guess it's Disney, but no idea. Witcher dismemberment or gtfo. Or just don't put Troopers in the game and only do droids. Maybe some wonderful PC modder soul on Nexus can figure something out with combat.

Because they take eight years with little actual gameplay updates, no PC development, and no story DLC planned after releases (the DLC part I don't normally like complaining about because it's somewhat greedy, but R* used to do it) and now only care about real money gold bar and shark card sales. They have exceptional screenwriters and artists, that's it.
Just no batmobile please, also not sure how they can evolve the gameplay so it isn't just a rehash of passed games. City really stepped it up, but not sure how they'd do that again.
Yeah eight years or so, no PC, no DLC, and has clunky controls and almost no upgrades to shooting and movement from previous GTAs? Pretty unacceptable in my opinion. People rate R* games 10s because they have great screenwriters I think. Hit us with great story, and people seem to ignore all else about a game besides visuals.
The devolution of the gaming landscape to real money transactions screwed DLC I think. Only a few devs do it now and that's only because they're caring and give a crap about us, their consumers. Even R* and Take-Two are all about online and grifting now. Can't blame it all on devs either; millions of players are throwing their credit cards at this garbage and screwing single-player DLC for others.
Remaster isn't a remake to temper your expectations if you were thinking Resident Evil or FFVII. It'll be HD res and some spruced up visuals—which is awesome and will provide Wake some added notoriety don't get me wrong—but won't be ground-up remake.
