The 360 can't detect more than 120 gigs. Check out any modder. They can mod a 3rd party HDD into the 360, but if its larger than 120 gigs, the extra space won't be recognized.

Are the parents buying the PS3 because of Blu-ray for their kids of for themselves? If they waited for PS3 to come down why would they buy $25-$40 movies for it?(NETFLIX is an option) Natal will more than negate Blu-ray. Isn't it easier to buy the 360 and watch 1080p movies you can't get anywhere else on the 360 with the Zune service?

Blu-Ray is alright and online gamers on the 360 don't like WiFi because it's unreliable. Sony couldn't catch up when they sold 150 million PS2's and owned 2 generations. You really think people value the the brand like they use to? The Wii and the 360 have won popular opinion that is why the 360 is outselling the PS3 with so Few blockbusters this year. Natal will be bigger than Wii. It will take PS3 years to pass the 360 and that's if the 360 was no longer selling and I mean off the market like Sega.

Planning is good, saving the price drops to match Sony's moves is smart. Microsoft forces Sony to change the price often that isn't desperation but strategy in my book.

The arcade SKU sells well but a huge piece of the consumer market buy the 360 for games and HDD enabled content, the PRO (and later the Elite) 360 being around $200 is in a small way like the 360 being at that $200 price point all over again.
