After checking into the writer's portfolio, you'll find he is just a 20 something gamer who can write, and loves the Wii.
He just didn't like it. Saying "a user's" opinions are less valid than this writer's doesn't make any sense.
I don't think any reviewer ever claims that his opinion is better than anyone else's, that's just the knee-jerk response of a fanboy when his game is "attacked".

It's just one review; and from what I played of it at E3, it was absolutely horrid. Sure, I might have a Golden-eye-esque blast with some friends in the same room, but the actual game was generic, the character models were generic, and the guns were boring.
If I was looking for it to be my "savior", and I ONLY had a Wii, sure, I'd be defending it to the hilt. But the fact is, I have a myriad of other, more fun shooters to pla...

Silent Hill 1 was one of the best games ever made: period. 2 was technically a "better" game, but 1 was just utterly revolutionary.
It seems like a lot of money for DLC, but what the hay.
I really liked the Sub-Zero chronicles but they were overstepping their bounds, and wasting resources on games they didn't know how to make. Overall, overmilking the MK franchise was just horrible.
