I'm sorry but I don't understand why people are making such a big deal about system memory, I mean, even if the ps4 Could only use 4.5 gb, I doubt any game would ever even need that much. Crisis 3 on pc only uses 2.5 ...

And as for everyone chirping Xbox one with its ddr3 memory, you obviously don't know much about computers. High end gaming pcs use ddr3 without a problem so the whole gimmick about gddr5 system memory is really not that special. Plus everyone for...

@Der_En_Grey

I think you are the one who needs to think first. If you actually read the quote on the link to the article the rep says that "games" can be saved on the cloud not just "game data". Also the current storage cap for xbox 360 is 512mb which is no where near enough to save a game. If you disagree you disagree with the facts.

There's a reason why most PC's run on DDR3

You're right.

But the reality is that the original plan for the Xbox One was to digitize content and the online requirement was a form of DRM to cope with that. The problem is that lots of people don't want that so they changed it.

I'm tired of people going on about how Microsoft is evil and trying to screw people over, they are a corporation like every other one: all they want is money. But in order to get it you have to appeal to the consumer w...

The picture in the article was not Xbox One game demos, it was the demo station for the Xbox One controller. If you look, there is no kinect which is required for the Xbox One to function. And lastly, these were booths at E3 not the hardware that ran the demos which was nowhere near good enough to be running on a GTX 780.

it's because they need to verify that you haven't installed your friends game on your hard drive it and are playing it offline while he is playing it too. It's like PC gaming now, because its on your hard drive and you don't need the disk.

I hate to offer an alternate opinion but this is not really that bad. I really don't know anybody who can't simply secure a minimal connection once a day. They have reason for doing this because with installing the games on your hard drive you need to verify that you aren't just paying your friends installed copy.

Also this pretty much confirms no change in used games market, unless developers want to charge for used games.

the worst part about this article is that MS never said that DRM has advantages (if you actually read it) they just said having content locked to your profile does which is true.
Lol I guess it's just entertaining to take things out of context

I think it looks really nice. The design approach to keep it simple really stands out here. Plus, the black gloss is really really nice.

But it doesn't mean that they think the game is better on PS4. Don't jump to conclusions
