LBP is an amazing game, there is no question about that.
However, Sackboy will never be Mario. If that somehow happens, it won't be in the next 5 years or even 10. Everyone and their mom (literally, for once) knows who Mario is. You can't say the same about either Sackboy or even Master Chief.
Sackboy is awesome, but I just can't see him become the new Mario. Though it would be sweet for him to be PS3's mascot at the least.
I don't have a large enough budget to go buy every single good game that comes out. If it doesn't stand out, I'm not buying it.
Why should it matter if the Wii doesn't have enough FPSs? I have all 3 now (Just got a PS3); I don't care what platform the game is on. If it's good, and unique, I'll buy it - regardless of whether it's PS3 360 or Wii.

No thanks. I may already have a Wii, but this one will need damn good scores for me to buy it. Gears of War 2 is good, and I'm sure Resistance 2 is just as good, but I just can't seem to play both. They just seem to be the same game.
The difference is, once you hit the level cap, there will always been intense raids for you to do in WoW. In Warhammer and Conan, there are minimal PvE dungeons for you to explore. I can't say anything about their PvP (Haven't played either, but I'm fairly well informed on the PvE aspects) but you really need both worlds to succeed. And that is how WoW has kept going.

Lol? Age of Conan probably sank faster than TR did. Warhammer has a decent install base now, but the market belongs to Blizzard.

Donkey Kong Country 2 definitely deserves the spot it has. In my opinion, it is the definitive platform game. Challenge, secrets, amazing level design... it had it all.
It's nice to see Blast Corps on there as well. That game definitely needs a next-gen sequel.
The previews made it sound decent at least. I had some hope for it.

Sorry to burst your immensely egotistical bubble, but there can be more than 2 amazing games on current consoles.
It's an art STYLE. Like Okami, de Blob, World of Goo, Pixeljunk, Fat Princess, fl0wer, echochrome, Castle Crashers, Tales of, or Geometry Wars. You don't need to have lifelike graphics in order to receive top marks.
But I guess you wouldn't understand that.

If Legend of Zelda can somehow qualify as an RPG, then WoW definitely does. When I think of an RPG, I think of epic storylines, leveling up, upgradable gear / weapons / spells, and alternate ways to play every time. WoW has all of the above.

I just don't see it working. I mean, there is keyboard and mouse support, but that's like saying a game like Ninja Gaiden 2 could work on the PC because it has joypad support. It's just not the same.
Diablo 3 on the other hand could work on a console.
