Objectively false.

That's... Very interesting.

I have high hopes for this game. Not pre-ordering because I swore myself off that entirely, but if reviews are good, I'm sure to get it.

My guess (and I hope I'm wrong) is that Capcom are scaling the game back, removing certain levels, and overall making the game smaller and shorter.

The same thing happened with the Ratchet and Clank PS4 remake. Around 5 or 6 levels were straight up gone. If this is the case for RE4 Remake then I most certainly won't be getting it.

So basically, the game isn't that great, so going in with any decent expectations will result in disappointment? And then framing it as if disliking it could be linked to closed-mindedness?

I'd love a top notch 3D Sonic game but at this rate, I don't think it's going to happen.

I think a big problem is that, for many of these gamers who spend big, predatory business models are the norm. "That's just how games are these days!" They just aren't aware of the wealth of other options out there with more value for money.

Fair enough, but the shocking draw distance and middling sense of speed really need to be on point when the game releases. I like the concept for this game, but I'm extremely skeptical as to whether they can pull it off considering the sheer number of duds they've put out over the years.

The first Motorstorm was good, but Pacific Rift blew it out of the water IMO. Still one of my favourite arcade racing games of all time. I also really liked Apocalypse, despite the Supercars and Superbikes being OP compared with the other vehicle classes.

Mine will probably be a lot longer. I always spend time just wandering about and exploring, taking in the sights etc. I'm no completionist bit I do try and get some side content in as I play.

This is one of those opinions that I genuinely wouldn't have believed could exist if I hadn't seen it for myself.

I very much agree. Driving top of the line racing cars is fun, but I also love driving cars that I could feasibly own in real life, enacting the dream of my mate and I barrelling down Nurburgring in our Ford Fiestas. It's such a different experience and one of the big reasons I love the older GTs.

Hopefully GT7 has a nice medium.

"It's been long enough."

Mate, piss off. Not everyone buys and plays games on the day of release. In fact, people should do that LESS considering the state many games release in. Not to mention not everyone has time, not everyone can afford and will wait before buying, some people might be saving it as a Christmas present, and others will have a backlog they're working through.

There are games released years ago that I have on my list h...

I have a PSP and Vita! Still play them from time to time. Great little systems!

I think many fans disliked the fact they cut so many levels that were in the original.

Hoven, Umbris, Oltanis, Orxon, Gemlik Base and Eudora are among many fan favourites, and they were flat out not in the game. As a big fan of the original, I was waiting for these classic levels to see how they looked in the new graphics engine, only for the game to end without seeing any of them.

Ah, another article spewing nonsense on this issue. What's the matter? Annoyed that people know better and won't mindlessly believe your message? Those poor, poor billionaires who bet on job losses and bankruptcy. However will they cope?

Expecting revolutionary AI is one thing, but when you have open world games that are nearly 20 years old with better NPC AI, CDPR's promises for a "living, breathing city" sound ridiculous.

No, people shouldn't have been expecting the greatest AI of all time. But if you told people before release to expect the game to have AI worse than PS2 era games, everyone would've laughed and called you an ignorant idiot.

What message did it send that was so terrible? That needless revenge is pointless? That it'll destroy the very things the person you're trying to avenge fought for?

If the moments where the game insinuates that being gay is okay put you off, maybe you need to do some soul-searching.

If you're a reviewer for a large gaming website, it's in your best interests to lie through your teeth. You only have to look at the time Jeff Gertsmann was fired from Gamespot for giving Kane and Lynch 2 a 6/10 whilst the site had an advertising deal with the publisher. If he'd just lied through his teeth and given it 8 or above, he would've kept his job.

And even then, you have rabid gamers who will bombard a site with hate for reviews of games they haven...
