I agree with the article. Software > Hardware... as much as I like single-player, online gaming is expanding at a very fast rate. I'll be doing a lot of it on Xbox Live Dedicated servers, this upcoming gen.

Don't kid yourselves.. Killzone is not on the same scale compared to the other FPSs mentioned, sales wise.
As much as I'd like to play Titanfall. . I've got to admit that respawn played it safe by developing another FPS as their first output.
You can't blame them. FPS genre sells by the millions, look at the duty.
besides Titanfall will be another solid MP game.

yeah, I wish I never got rid of my PS2 also. I'm not making this mistake again, 'less backward compatibility is concrete on the next gen consoles.
So what if it was originally announced as a kinect title? Games go through changes all through out development . . . It hasn't stopped Ryse from being one of, if not, the most impressive game yet on the next generation consoles, at launch.
you guys are quick to mention how PC can't play console exclusive games. You're forgetting that the PC has exclusive games of its own that you cant play on consoles.. it's a two way street. And, the so called "exclusives" on consoles are not as good as you guys make them seem to be. If you took away third party support, these consoles would be nothing to the vast majority of gamers.

Keep in mind that steam machine will give you options. The controller will not be a compulsory input method. They spent a year trying to develop a suitable controller that'll let you play Pc games with. . . Give it a chance.
The more options the merrier. Valve can definitely be the "next big thing" in gaming, period. They've got a good business model. They're about to make PC gaming even more accessible than it's ever been. Valve are good for gaming.
For some odd reason, Whenever a new platform is revealed, people feel threatened as though their platform of choice is being taken away. Valves vision is good for gaming, nothing to do with your insecurity.
