I know it's easy to lose faith in the N4G community, but at one time this was an XBOX paradise. The tides can always reverse themselves, but the cold hard fact is that Sony has focused on releasing exclusives while Microsoft has shifted focus to new gimmicks. Gamers want games, but consumers buy gimmicks.

At this point, if you think you may want a PSP2, you better start praying for a $299 starting price. I wouldn't be surprised to see $349-$399 knowing Sony and how high-end their gaming systems are.
You pre-ordered the system, but were hoping to be "shocked" by a $199 price tag? Sounds to me like you should have been expecting at least $249 from the start if you're being honest. $249 is an excellent starting point for this tech, and they could probably get away with charging $299 out of the gate, to be honest.

I think Sony has a good shot at cracking the Nintendo handheld domination wide-open this time around if they reveal a $299 price point and some sort of Call of Duty with dual analog. I'm not the biggest fan of CoD, but it is a money-making machine.
It is actually the exact same $249.99 launch price as the PSP-Go. Sony better reveal some aggressive pricing with the PSP2, because at this point it already looks DOA.
