The demo was garbage. What I saw in 3D last year at E3 and what I'm seeing in this demo don't even look like the same game. Not a big fan of the franchise anyway but even if I was I wouldn't be buying this.
Honestly it looks like a downloadable title at best. I guess it's out in AU at least if not Europe but it got delayed here. Comparing the visuals in this one and Pacific Rift this is sad smh

I have played Crysis 1 at full spec PC in 1080p and I played the Crysis 2 MP demo yesterday and Crysis 2 looks like garbage compared to Crysis 1 on PC. Actually that's not true, the TV is what is affecting your hertz, the frame rate is locked by the game though but those are two different things. Everything on a 120, 240, 480 and 600hz tv looks much different than a 60hz TV and if you don't know that you haven't played a game on one.

when this generation is over and it's a $99 blu ray player. Sony won't pull the PS3 off the shelf just like they won't with the PS2. PS2 will probably still be on the shelf when the next generation starts. Microsoft and Nintendo pulled their last consoles because that's pretty much all they were is gaming consoles, same with this generation (not really the 360 so much because it does alot) and I believe they will both pull their current consoles when the next generation starts...
why do we all even care about this? as long as the games come out and we can play them the numbers game doesn't concern us at all, unless you have stock in said company. I wish we could just get back to playing games instead of debating and talking about them all day, it's getting a little sad.
I'm to the point where I don't care. CGC is annoying, I rarely even answer invites or go in parties because I actually want to pay attention to the game I'm playing. It comes in handy but the feature is not that big of a deal. All mp games have chat for that game and that is what matters most imo. I agree, the game is great. Once they send out the patch for the load times and fix a few of the online hiccups (which there are very few, but they still exist) the game will be damn near perfect imo

MAG is a solid game and there is nothing wrong with COD, this game just isn't COD. People who will like this the most are people who liked Socom and Rainbow Six games. The scope of the game is enormous and you gotta work as a team or you won't win one single match.
COD is a whole different style of FPS, and they really shouldn't be compared because what you do in COD online doesn't affect you like it does in MAG.

the problem with that theory is that until devs start to utilize the ps3 and the ps3 becomes the standard and not the 360 none of that matters. exclusives will only do so much and you gotta look at sales. while the ps3 exclusive sales are good they are not great bar a few titles.
until third party devs start to utilize the ps3 like they could/should, then it is a lost cause and all that technological superiority is out the window.
