As for BF4 making the list for biggest letdown, it was originally an honorable mention for FPS for the year, but then all the problems hit with the servers, rendering it unplayable for many across all platforms (though some have no issues). It's an awesome game, but the online play has been a huge letdown for a lot of people.
Very good point! The only thing that would really keep us from mentioning that would be that it was more of a tech thing than a strictly gaming thing. But yeah, that was a FLOP.
I was originally all-in with PS4, but Microsoft has made all the right tweaks with Xbox One since Sony destroyed it at E3. People can get on Microsoft for backpedaling, but they listened to the complaints and addressed the biggest ones.
These used to be so much more vibrant, but now they're reduced to "come pick up your game and be on your way." They used to feel like a culmination of the hype train.
