When you say "CG visuals" do you mean pre-rendered? Because this is apparently being rendered in real time.
If it's true then it's pretty ridiculous, and it's obviously not going be on the current gen.
As for people saying it doesn't have a Final Fantasy feel - I can understand where you're coming from with the whole "dudes with AK's" thing but it still looks like Final Fantasy to me. I mean, what exactly is a Final...
I don't like it. I don't mind the "Wii" name but adding "U" on the end for a new console is just daft imo.
It would be like calling the next Playstation the "Playstation 3b".
They should be learning that gaming is supposed to be about art and entertainment, not money.
I hope Cacpom finally starts to get the message, although I doubt they will. They've been steadily going down hill for a while now. Not only with the money grabbing, but with the way they just keep getting western devs to make sequels to their games and they're almost always garbage.

Strange, I seem to remember the first Killzone as being a bit of a technical power house at the time. I remember thinking the graphics were incredible and remember reading an article in a magazine that was going on about the game engine, saying something about it being able to make "rounder" shapes than other games or something along those lines.

I'm from the UK so it may be a bit different here (our limited edition is slightly different than the US one) but I pre-ordered my copy quite a while ago so I hope I get it.
There are some fair points in the review, but Destructiod reviews are literally always like this. Always trying to be different from the general consensus no matter what so it's hard for me to take it seriously.
I see it like this: you don't play a 7/10 game for 90 hours. It's as simple as that.

Even it was true, they wouldn't make games on Blu-ray so it's pretty pointless.
CoD has timed exclusive DLC, and that's the biggest game there is so you can pretty much expect anyone to do it. They basically get money for something that is pretty insignificant and doesn't really require any extra effort on their part.
I'd say timed DLC matters a bit when it's multiplayer content, only a bit mind. Otherwise it doesn't really matter at all.

That's what happens when a game does difficulty right. It can be punishing but you know that you could potentially tear through it if you play it enough and just keep getting better and better.
There's not enough games like this these days. I can't wait.
It's third person and it has space marines, that's about the only similarities.
Space Marine is a lot more focused on getting stuck in to the fighting, and there's a much larger focus on melee combat. I hate seeing people calling it a Gears rip-off - it doesn't even play the same, and Warhammer was around first.

The key word there is "fanboys". There's plenty of them for all platforms and they act just the same way.
Just forget about them. There's plenty of gamers who appreciate good games when they see them, regardless of what platform they're on.

The smaller version was a lot better, and the 360 pad is one of the best ever made imo.
As soon as I saw the trailer for this game I thought "this could be just like the 'The Thing' game". Looks like it is gonna be pretty similair.
I like the idea for it, gonna keep an eye on this one.
They've ruined Resident Evil for me, they may as well change the name to "Resident Explosions" it's outrageous.
