I've come to realize one thing about those people who are not interested in Halo. They don't like the fact that millions of people like a game they do not. Because of that, you see so much bashin and trashin of the game. It's like if they don't love it, they must have to hate it.
I personally don't give a rat's ass what the "general public" likes to play or not play. If I spent as much time hating other games and people do hating halo, I would have to quit my job and ...
I picked up my copy of Halo 2 during my lunch break from work. This year, I have the day off so I will pick it up when the store opens and start plowing through single player.
I expect alot of people to skip school and call in sick to work:)
Halo 3 will sell. period. I can see a spike in 360 sales as a result of it's release.
One thing I've always done is skip over any article I don't care about.
People are going to play what they want and like what they like. The people that come in here spouting off "Don't buy into the Hype" "Don't play ____ game" just need to get a life. In the end, I think they just rant against any game they don't like, but alot of other people do.
Play what you want, and don't worry about what other people play.
The GAMER will win this holiday season. There will be so many good titles to play, it's crazy.
It's quite simple. The game will release on September 25th. Microsoft will be shipping tons of copies to distributors between now and then to ensure they have a ton of copies on the shelf for people to purchase.
Much like Bioshock, some store will break the street date at some point. It's almost guaranteed.
The official release date will not change, but don't be suprised if people are spotted playing the game before then.

Who says there won't be elites to kill somewhere along the line:) Heck, we haven't even seen the flood, but we know they are in the game. This was definately a great looking level and I know Bungie will not reveal all just yet. I'm sure there's alot more to the game than we've seen.

I'm glad all the Halo3 haters have had a chance to play the full version and come to an educated conclusion that it sucks. What, you have not played the full version? Then your whining is invalid. When people say things like "exact same game as Halo 3" I stop listening right there.

#3 Party Chat
I can't count the number I times I've wished for this to be implemented by now. Everytime I go to chat with friends, I wish we could start up a party chat since we tend to be playing different games. I know it can be done and I maintain hope that it might make it into the Fall update.
I was on the fence on this one until I played the demo. Now I can't wait for this game to come out.
