I bought BFBC2 off steam for £19.99 then the next day it came up in sale for £5.00.

For me they need to expand on what they have accomplished in GTAIV and RDR.
A huge map with several cities would be great, more like SA but much more detailed, with small towns scattered around the countryside.
You can't be sure of either, Just because there is a huge casual market does not mean that has to spill over into the core market. There is still a huge amount of money to be made from the core market (see MW3 and BF3 this winter)
By pushing a gimmicky new peripheral onto them they risk loosing the market to the more traditional developers.

Before the mouse it was joystick, People did criticize the mouse when they first started using it.
In a way its come around back to the controller, which is really a modified joystick when you think about it.
Peter has it wrong about this though, the thing that got the mouse used widely was compelling titles.

It's stealth lag, it can seem like your playing the smoothest game, when in reality everything you see is like half a second out of sync.
This is a BIG problem for an online game, the netcode is appalling. MW2 did not have it as bad a Blckops, but it was still there.
Anyone who regularly plays black ops should be aware of this, It surprises me that there are so many COD fans around places defending a broken game.
That's why they don't have a beta, because having one means it delays the games release, because there will most certainly be a lot of bugs.
They advertise is as the dogs bollocks and people throw their money at them, unaware of the sneaky tactics they use.
Black ops is my biggest regret this year.
