If you want to unclutter your place you could always give your used copies of the games you don't want away, then whoever is lucky enough to take them off your hands won't have anything to complain about anyway since they aren't paying for them.
Not sure I see how it's a trust issue.
Wow. Totally disagree with your second point though. "a used copy cant exist without a sold new copy", of course that's true, but it's also completely irrelevant. Buying used games isn't much more beneficial to a company than pirating them. Don't get me wrong from a moral point of view there is a big difference, but financially buying a used copy does nothing for the developer.
"new buyers dont get any rewards except for the content that used purchasers ...
That's a good point
Not sure that you understand the article. It's not saying you have to pay extra for all of the content, it's saying you have to pay the full price for the game instead of saving 15-20% to buy it used. Understandable considering developers make no money on used sales and it costs over $50 million to make some games. A game like Rage which will have been in development for 5 years or more upon release will most likely fall into this category.
.......most new games
To quote Family Guy's Dr. Hartman "Why can't it be both?"
The only way I see the graphics having a chance of being remotely impressive in this game is if these are pre alpha shots.
These graphics look like ass. And I don't mean tight Kardashian ass, but ugly old man ass-at least when compared to Battlefield 3
@lastdual, I believe what he said was if the game is successful they will get bonuses, which isn't really fair to the developers without any creative control; it's not their fault if the game they're working on sucks. That said, I'm aware LA Noir was successful.
How! Could. You! Possibly! Know! If! You. Will! Enjoy... Them! Equally... If? They're! Still! Several? Months! Away! From! Release! Sony! And! MS. Together? NO!
@yume-k
Human Revolution is being developed on this continent.
How DARE you?!
@fredfenster
Where did you hear that? I hope you're wrong. Better not be God damn Black Ops 2.
that was France's PS magazine.
I bet you're right.
I hope not.
Let it be something less predictable, like Half Life Ep3 or Half Life 3.
I'll agree when a developer (or publisher) pushes out a new one every year or so-Call of Duty and Gears of War come to mind-the game play doesn't change very much and the graphics don't get updated and that does suck. It's just the companies trying to capitalize on their product, they're basically choosing quantity over quality. But when a developer like Valve take their time perfecting the new game in their series it usually pays off, Half Life 2 was imo even better than ...
Why'd they make her so ugly? Maybe she's not hideous, but she's a huge step down from valve's Alyx.
why are singularity and transformers in this list, and not the half life series?
Whether bullshit is an offensive word or not, the "fan" was being an ass. And Pete was nice enough to say he was only kinduv an ass.
