mart do the research, blu ray as a constant read rate, dvd has a variable 1, at its fastest is faster then blu ray, but average it out blu ray is faster...

and the golf game is optional 5gb install.
blade star, a whole lot of games on ps3 use the disks to 25gigs (most likely because the developers are just too lazy to compact it, but thats not the point) , there is no install required for most of the games that big...
not 1 game ive bought has required a install on my ps3
