Well yea its selling more now because its the newest kid on the block, but come next gen the switch will become less and less relevant to 3rd parties. They simply wont be able to compensate for the performance gulf.
Despite the decent strides VR has made recently , it still has not been able to transcend its novelty status. I dont think it will ever replace the traditional controller or key board / mouse.
Hate is a bit strong but its obvious that to capcom the switch is an afterthought.
No it wont, because those same people who haven't invested in local hardware for various reasons likely wont have access to an adequate internet structure to make adoption of something like streaming feasible.
Overtime local hardware is the MUCH cheaper option.
What a shame, it's quite a good campaign.
We are getting the same generic talking points from these developers like twice a week about PS5/Scarlett.
Very smart business and operations move. If they build servers with Scarlett. It brings down the overall cost of production
I used to love BiA was my favorite WW2 franchise back on Xbox, it was so much more grounded and the characters were very compelling.
Cant say that anyone is surprised by this. We are still at least 10 years away from this being feasible.
Why is this in the XBOX section?
I really don't understand how (besides upfront cost) Stadia is the superior option to local hardware. I'm really struggling to see the value.
Trying to convince people that something is wrong with them for not having fun with X game is a fruitless battle. The game simply just doesn't appeal to alot of people from a gameplay perspective, and thats ok.
Tomb Raider has superior gameplay systems and mechanics. Uncharted is superior from a polish, writing and technical presentation perspective.
Suspicious of any game that has an embargo until its release date.
This game is super divisive, I'll get it when its on sale.
At this point it should launch as a cross gen title.
$129 for a chromecast, a controller and destiny 2... wow what an amazing deal....
These streaming services are at min 5-10 years away from viability. Probably more. From a comparison stand point, aside from the upfront cost of physical hardware, there is absolutely no incentive to game on a streaming service.
Naughty dog is a very very talented and beloved studio that have consistently delivered some of the best games across the last two generations.
I think the shortcomings of the actual mechanics in their games are overlooked due to the overall quality of the package being so high.
In short, they do deserve the praise they are giving and I really really do appreciate them consistently pushing the story telling and visual envelope. aside from some of the wa...
Didnt digital foundry already do a superior analysis months ago.
