I hope they do this soon, but I doubt if it will be soon because it took the Ico team years to make SotC. SotC was so original though and it was one of the best games for the PS2. They might just leave it alone and work on a completely new game.
Again you have to be considerate of the amount of time the PS3 has been out which is a little over three months. The ONLY great exclusive it has out is Resistance and it got very good reviews and it was Insomniac's first shooter. I know you buy every single game and every single console, but when you say the 360 has the best next-gen games it's a matter of opinion, just like the EA guy in the article. Everyone has an opinion. To me, it's that the PS3 is going to have the best games that suit ...
I posted this because it made me mad at how ridiculous he was being when he said PS3 will be competing with the Wii for 2nd place, which is the most outlandish thing I've heard. In terms of games, how can games like Super Smash Bros. and Wii Motor Sports compete with Heavenly Sword and Motorstorm.
Please don't call me out for posting this because I just wanted to see what other people on this site had to say. I mean it was going to be posted one way or another so I figured I'd ...
ha
Uh oh, it's not too late to turn back.
because I want to see how well they implemented the SIXAXIS. I hope they did something different, I don't want this to be just another dragon game and it looks like it won't be. Looks really fun though, I'll definitely pick this one up.
Initially, Hideo Kojima got his passion for videogames through western movies, so he must be psyched to have this movie on the way.
With so many different predictions, who's to say that any one prediction is valid. I think consumers are too unpredictable for the most part and theses analysts have no idea what Microsoft and Sony have "up their sleeves." I think people keep thinking that the market leader will push out better games, which I don't think is the case this time around. So unless you're working for Sony/MicroSoft, it doesn't matter who has a slight market lead.
It's sad that most of the games for the PSP are ports from other consoles. It's not creating a name for itself like the DS, but relying on PS2's leftovers.
The demo area on the PS Network has been dead since Motorstorm came out. I hope they bring it soon and I hope they bring a decent playable version of the game.
they posted it.
But it just didn't sound official enough to be "earth-shattering." Oh well.
Doesn't roll off the tongue, but I expect this game to be packed with fun action and maybe even chases.
I was getting tired of these quick multi-platform comparisons of different sports titles and people waving them around like they really take advantage of a console's strengths like exclusives do.
Digital distribution can't replace discs ,or, at least not anytime soon. People still want a hard copy of what they have just purchased, especially if it's a game or a movie that they've been anticipating for so long. If in the future it does happen, then it'll be more of an option. I mean, people still buy CDs, not everyone is into technology. There are still many people who like to collect their movies or add another game to their library on the shelf.
Pathetic
that the PS3 will sell like crazy when it costs as much as the 360 right now. It'll take a while, but I think this is when PS3 will pull away from the competition and it would be a good value.
And that's why you buy a console for its exclusives and first-party games which will only focus on one console and takes advantage of the hardware. I have no clue whether blu-ray is necessary, but I'm left thinking that more space is not bad. We should give it a year and a half so that we can see if any first-party games have taken advantage of it.
It shouldn't have been last place, I think it should of been first or second or tied with the PS3 because there are more variability in PS3 and 360 while the wii sticks to small games like Mario Kart.
The game's still gonna rock though. We'll have to look for the third one for HD.
