Good reminder. I loved Fallout 3 but it took months to fix some serious bugs. Then you think Fallout New Vegas would have them all fixed, nope. We love the Bethesda games and it's a good thing for them that gamers have really short memories of bug rages.

Hahaha, yeah, now that PS4 sales are twice the Xbone, MS all of a sudden says they aren't concerned about console hardware sales.

This is after MS spent the last 15 years dumping all this sales crap, including sales, what constitutes a sale, whether the sales number was reliable, bladda, bladda, bladda, on console video gamers. When the Nintendo, PSX and Dreamcast were all that was there, all this sales and marketing aspect of video gaming was not daily news and nobody ca...

ID-Tech isn't very good at handling lots of interactive props. That is why all the iD games seem to be very static, only a few props that are interactive. For some reason, game physics is stalling. Half Life 2 kind of showed up Doom 3 with much more extensive interactive physics effects. Also, iD in general has put all the effort into megatextures but leave close up details on individual objects as low rez texture maps. Rage was really noticeable for this. This is all background stuff for...

Surprise, surprise, surprise! An Xbox gamezine site that uses Xbox puke green for their theme declares the XBone was the E3 winner. This happens every year, some obscure Xbox site comes out weeks after E3 to declare the Xbox won. These guys don't need a videogame console, they live in the delusions in their minecraft block heads.

What a sudden loss to the gaming community. One thing about Nintendo under his leadership was that it was willing to try new directions all the time. Must be a real shock to the company just as it is deciding what is the next step beyond Wii-U.

More like, this is gamesradar pulling a hair out of its ass and trying to find out how long it can go. Can there be a worse example of what gamezine "journalism" will gutter dive into, trying to gain readership? Pathetic and putrid.

A minor point but why is her face always dirty ... when she is constantly surrounded by water and falling into it? She can set up campfires but she can't wash her face. Poor Lara.

The story line is cool. We, in the here and now, become the forgotten Ancient ones. My guess is eventually, video games become so immersive, the civilization is absorbed by them and the infrastructure reality falls apart with nobody taking care of it anymore. Yes, the apocalypse will be the fault of video games.

Gears of Bore. Probably is a fake because it looks too much like it did 3 years ago. It would also indicate the dev sticking with UE3 since it is showing none of the UE4 lighting improvements. Gears has been around too long with too many PC mods, makes fakes too easy. A PC mod would look like a HD remake on a console.

Even as a long time Sony fan, this PS4 Dynamic Menu is taking too long to get even a fraction of the PS3 XMB functionality. Sony really needs to get new blood into the firmware group. Part of the reason Sony cut back on the menu functionality is due to the exploits they opened up. Still, no custom avators at this point is on the verge of ridiculous. The people they are authorizing to create the dynamic themes and avatars are unsat.

It plays a lot smoother than BF4, yeah, different dev DICE vs Visceral but it seems like the basic game engine might be the same. If they don't cheapskate the number of maps in the release version, it could be a good carryover until SW BF. Thinking about what this game is portraying, police and gangs equipped to the teeth with the latest military hardware, it is LOL.

These HD games are more about how much content is in them, versus just pure development. Huge texture maps, voice acting, symphonic music, all kinds of prop modeling, a lot of labor intensive jobs for different parts of the development. In between projects, it is just business as usual to thin down content people while the coder development team usually has a stable core. The news about them hiring now means the next project is a go.

Jack went out on top of the game. He was the driving force of SCEA having so many AAA development studios grow during his time.

Sony has class and style. Microsoft has huge nutsacks made of platinum, gold and diamonds and they like to swing them around like a Chippendale dancer.

MS have totally lost it. Buying a PC shareware company for $2B? It's obvious that MS thinks Minecraft is the next Legos, and it isn't. This is Spencer doing this.

Did you really slip back to the blubbering "buh...buh...buh...Sony too!" lamezone? Sony is a hardware company that discontinues hardware but MS outright abandons it with no notice. See the difference yet blubbering boy?

MS has a long history of tapered support then just abandoning hardware. Remember Zune and Kin as the most recent. There were a whole bunch of people saying MS wouldn't just abandon Zune, mostly a Toshiba product, they did and left Toshiba hanging there. Notice how the MS - Toshiba relationship is basically gone now. The next will be the Nokia phones, already announced that MS will be abandoning them. That is what they do, abandon hardware, because they are a software company. Don't be...

About time this issue starts being addressed. In the early days, guys that used to write about video games didn't make airs about being a "game journalist". They were just guys that loved video games and would write about them. Also, remember, not that long ago, it was very difficult to get game trailers, get into betas, and be allowed early unfinished release copies. Until Gametrailers came along, a lot of sites like IGN and Gamespot were going to a subscription model, just to ...

The Japanese don't hate XBO because it is beautiful. They hate it because it is an obsolete piece of junk, plus way too big and ugly for their smaller spaces.
