World looks amazing, crazy amount of detail, but not sure if it'll actually be any fun to play. I imagine fans of Deus Ex will be happy though
Good article. Game prices never needed to increase, the money isn't going towards development or developers and it isn't going to get rid of microtransactions or other scummy business practices. It was purely about game companies seeing an opportunity to test the waters with next gen, and the sad thing is it'll probably work.
"have the ability to message a friend"
How is this not available in 2020? especially for a paid service. You could do this with the PS3 in 2006, maybe even the PSP
You've got be an odd kind of fanboy to be excited about a company getting marketing rights.
Its a Ubisoft game, its entirely skippable.
Sony are annoyingly incompetent at this stuff. Make a potential game of the year candidate? easy. Getting a screenshot to load on the playstation store? nope.
I'd be surprised if this doesn't translate to "Yes we're raising our next gen prices like everyone else"
"Cuphead will never come to PS4"
"It's 100 per cent true. Cuphead is a console exclusive for Xbox One. There will be no PS4 version"
Microtransactions, paid cosmetics, multiple currencys, resource dismantling, daily challenges, battle passes, tie-ins with other brands.
Even if there is somehow a semi decent game buried underneath all this I wouldn't buy it on principle. These games aren't designed around being fun, they're just cynical time sinks designed to keep you "engaged" enough for the next season of... Whatever else they're trying to sell you
This looks cool, hopefully Sony start putting some of these smaller indie games on PS Now one day
Game is cool but I was disappointed to see it had the option of purchasing currency from the PSN store. Its a paid game so why does it have a free to play economy
Ahh well, breath of the wild might have better travel mechanics but at least Jin's sword isn't made out of paper mache
Age is irrelevant. EA and other companies, especially mobile ones, put a LOT of time and research into exploiting these people. Just look at some of Jim sterling's videos, they have entire presentations explaining how they plan to manipulate the player into spending
84 metacritic out of 86 reviews is a very very good score though
Which is weird, cos they're arguably the more interesting games imo
I didn't know Bobby Kotick had a N4G account
We're judging the quality of games on YouTube like to dislike ratios now?
Nex Machina is currently on sale on the UK store, for anyone wanting a reason to be excited for this
Translation: I only respect opinions that are similar to mine, making all reviews pointless anyway
I'm sure Elden Ring is going to be great, but if I was From Software I'd look at this and be a bit worried. Going to be tough going from this remake to the usual From Software jank, pressures on
