Added game modes is always nice but, it shouldn't be a deal breaker for Star Fox - this series has always been about single player. Besides, judging by the shoe-horned attempt of adding multiplayer to previous Star Fox games...they probably haven't figured out a compelling way for it to work. Star fox's longevity has always been an old school approach; meaning, it's all about high scores. This and coupled with branching pathways within the worlds and the overall path challe...
Really? I was getting more of a Commando vibe. I mean, he murders a dozen bonehead terrorists without breaking a sweat and then rumbles downhill in a jeep while being shot at. This is the role arnuld was born to play.
Indiana Jones rarely kills anyone.
If we're talking Japan, the 3DS has been the top seller the past few years in Japan including this data. You have to remember, the 3DS's numbers are spread out over 4 separate tally. So, based on these numbers the PS4 is at 26k and 3DS is at 35k.
It's human nature, the same reason why die-hard democrats and republicans will, seemingly, defend to the death issues that are in the interest of their respective party. Has nothing to do with ethics or sound reasoning. Mass media has made easier than anytime in history to be a mindless follower and be blind to logic. It's how people make sense of their life by identifying with political parties, neighborhoods, class, brands. If any doubt is cast on any of these identities they...
Sony should do what phone service providers do by offering subsidized vitas for a 2 year commitment to PS plus or something along those lines. I would guess most people don't pay $600 for a phone but through some sort of subsidized program or payment plan. Besides, phones are inherently more in demand due to necessity. I'm sure only a very small minority buy phones for gaming.
Splatoon comes out in May. It's a bit of a wild card but, who knows, could turn out to be a hit for Nintendo.
Isn't The Show an annual release?
As far as I know The Show is San Diego's bread and butter. Maybe the layoffs are related to one-off projects they were experimenting with but to suggest the lay-offs are linked to The Show '15 release doesn't make any sense to me. Unless the studio goes through a round of layoffs and hiring spree every spring when The Show releases, but that sounds like an HR nightmare and inefficient management.
Does anyone...
An overzealous video game fans reaction to review scores usually go one of two ways concerning a game they're anticipating;
5/10
'Nah, this is why we should boycott reviews and scoring. They are either conspiring against the game or they are out of touch with what gamers appreciate about games. Reviews don't speak for me.'
9.5/10
'Boo yah!!! Told you this game was gonna be great and,turns out, it is!!!'
Battlefield is my 10 year old nephews favorite game.
FYI
MSX was produced by Microsoft
@fsfsxii
Oh boy, you do realize MSX was released by Microsoft? So technically metal gear started on a Microsoft platform.
This site never fails to amuse me. I'll be honest, I only come to this site to witness the delusional commenters. It's like finding a movie humerous for its bad acting. I mean, can you really be offended by your disagrees?
Uhhh, you're misinformed. This forecast has nothing to do with the forthcoming fiscal year.
You mean the DS? The 3DS looks a hell of a lot better than the 64.
I get what you're saying but I think Sony understands, probably more than anyone, the inherent risk of releasing a new ip. Sometimes success and failure of a game, especially a new ip, is beyond the control of the developer or publisher. Look at vanquish, it's an awesome game and much more enjoyable than, say, gears of war but it didn't sell at all. I believe Sony wouldn't have any doubts about insomniac's ability or talent based on their long running relationship.
Earn Sony's trust? I'm sure it was nothing personal and just a business decision
Why do people hate the wiiu on this site so much? If its irrelevent, why all the discussion?
I can only imagine what the last story would like in HD. That game sure puts a bit of strain on the little wii but it does look incredible
That went right over your head.
In my view, a "hard core gamer" is defined more by the time and money invested in gaming and not so much by the content of individual games. PS4 is a sales leader, but I'm sure a big chunk of those sales were from "casual gamers". And they may casually play a game like MGS - my good friend back in the day loved the original MGS on PSX, but he was not really a gamer at all. His library of games was tony hawk, MGS, FFVII, and NCAA football. He never defined himself a...
