Sony didn't kill the dreamcast.. I think the dreamcast just to be for Sega to handle it.. they just couldnt take it.
And by the time the original xbox was released the PS3 ruled the earth. it has all the support fromt the development community that the original xbox which they had. Also let's not forget the fact that PS2 was the child of PS1... only on name recognition the PS2 could destroy the xbox which came out 2 years after the alreadly stablished PS2.

If microsoft adds a blu-ray drive on the xbox 360 then it would be helping Sony win the format war. There is a saying, "The Enemy of my enemy is my friend"... well.. HD DVD is Sony's enemy... so, what do you think Microsoft logical move should be?

My favorite console off all time was nes... then Snes... but the PS2 will always be one of my favorite consoles.. so much love that it made me stay completely away form the original xbox... It it possible we may never see another console with such success... Not because the Playstation 3, the xbox 360 or the wii are not as good or better hardware wise.... but simply because hardware consoles are becoming so good that they all offer something we all want.

wow.. I like... how much I wish street fighter games would be like this. (At least story mode)... where one can just play the game like an aventure game... with missions... and then fight 2 rounds with the main enemies/characters... I think this game got it right... I'm not sure why this game is not being released in Japan on day one... this seem to be the kind of game that the xbox 360 needs over there.

I'm not the one that's having problems with Xbox 360 lags... Currently I'm not playing any PC games... last game I played on my PC was Battle Field 214?.. forgot... I play games using a T1 in my office... and I have Verizon Fios... at home.. ohh yeah... and my VOIP phone I have it on a separte DSL..
But saying that you don't lag regarless of what server you play on... ever.. ever ever... you know is just wrong.....

I mean seriously... isn't obvious that xbox live just like any other P2P game.. depends on the connection of the host?
So, if I have a PS3.. and I'm lagging.. for some stupid reason like... NAT is close.. or my router is dropping pockets.. I have to assume is that PSN sucks?
If you have lost of lags on all the games you play on xbox live... something must be wrong with your connection, interent or router... <...

Lots of fanboys do not understand what xbox live really is... Xbox live is more than playing online. The only different between the gold and the silver account is multiplayer...
Achivements, Demos, game videos, gamescore, private chat, messaging, MSN messenger, video chat... all that is free for anyone to use...
Many of these features are not even available on the PS3... for example, achivements, gamerscore... non-existant on PSN...

With so many great FPS out there and with super killer games like COD4... there will be little time to play "just another FTP"... so, this game better be a AAA... nothing less.. we've reach the point where gamers can pick the game they want to play..

The same was said about 2007.... now is 2008... It's interesting that the PS3 success predictions are 100% based on the success of the PS2... the fact that Microsoft and Nintendo are doing a lot better than when PS2 ruled the earth is not being even concidered in the equation... this is the reason why people were so wrong... when they said that the PS3 would beat the xbox 360 in terms of sells once it launches... Sometimes the market make dramatic twists... just like the way Apple took the mu...
