The colors on the 360 pop way more and it looks like the PS3 is just flat out missing details on the object textures.
Mehz.
I still say that Resistance owed alot of its original hype due to the fact it was one of only a handful of games available at launch.
You literally were forced to buy this at launch. I mean what else was there. A fight night 3 remake, that marvel game, and heavenly sword( which still holds up today IMO).
If you are looking for must own third installment of a series just by KZ3
I'd be peeved if i couldn't play most of those games but lets be honest.
1) although i love LBP i could easily see many passing on it.
2) We know nothing of Agent
3) Hate to say it but with Killzone 2 out who cares about anything resistance. I mean the only reason us ps3 users bought the original was due to the fact that it was one of the only 3 or 4 games available at launch.
you boys wiill not be disappointed. blu-ray owns
a shoehorned multiplayer add-on.
This game looks retarded to me. Just my personal opinion. It just seems that there other games out there that offer a similar experience and do a better job.
IS there some breakthrough game feature that i missed that built the hype for this game?
If you took away the amazing presentation and gameplay you would still be left with a story that boasts some of the most clever writing i've experienced in a game. Good move to breathe more life into these characters by fleshing out their backstories.
can some 360 fans elaborate on how much of the story will be lost for those of us PS players that didnt' get to the first? Assuming of course this is true.
I've never owned an Xbox but i can honestly say that i can care less about the motion control coming on the Playstation. How do xbox fans feel about natal being pushed into one of the flagship titles. Is it welcomed? Do you think it will work? I can't relate to Gears gameplay but if the Playstation asks me to crawl around my house so i can sneak in MGS i'll be peeved.
Then again maybe this is the future of gaming and i'm just getting old LOL
It seems that multiplats are just not made with the PS3 in mind. I'm starting to get the point where only the exclusives come onto my radar.
Thats sad.....or is it?
a 9.3 pretty much meant its a must own. It seems more and more that the tenth point boils down to nitpicking and whether or not the games suits the reviewers personal tastes.
In any event, reviews are becoming irrelevant. Todays consoles provide demos most of the time. (Thank goodness for the infamous demo, bc the game vids did it no justice. Some games you need to be in the drivers seat for. Reviews and vids aren't always gonna cut it)
Wow. I guess its official. i'm now into driving games. Before viewing those pics the closest thing to a racing game i was into was Twisted metal. Those days are gone. sorry for the rant and life story. But seriously, is this what the game will look like when its in my PS3. This looks to set the bar once again for all console gaming.
Jeez. sorry for the second rant.
talk is cheap. I was looking forward to this before it started looking like vaporware, but hell maybe it'll actually be released. anyhoo, my faith in mult-plats isn't very strong and will be surprised if this lives up to dev hype.
BTW, anyone else think the enemy robo zombie things looked both unimaginative and dumb?
...i can't think of anything clever to say. just wow. I mean the graphical feats achieved, the attention to detail in motion capture, and hell even the writing we've seen so far gives this one at least 8. Throw in the fact that it builds upon and extends one of the greatest games ever made makes me believe that all the perfect scores were well deserved. Anyhoo, I already bought this a month ago.
Maybe these two projects were a little too ambitious 2 years ago. Now that the hardware is hitting its stride they have the breathing room to start funding these bad boys. The action in 8 Days looks smooth although after seeing Uncharted 1 and 2 its not as mind blowing as was way back when.
By the way....were these exclusive to the PS3???
Its hard to say one game makes one console better than the other, but Heavy Rain looks like it will be a new and unique game experience that will def be making its way into my colloection.
I'll be honest here, Valve makes good ish but when your already playing the (arguably) best console FPS around in KZ2 who really cares?
as far as multi plats go this is pretty good. I can't tell the diff.
Well, see ya. (Goes off to play games worth playing)
the videos don't lie. the ps3 port was passed off and doesn't look as good. end of story.
