the UI for torne is actually really nice, easy, and real smooth.
Its unfortunate that users outside of Japan won't be using this, but trust me.. its really smooth. :)
if you guys like the FF series, I'm sure you'll understand that all of them linear up to a certain point. That is the same for XIII.
Seriously play before you judge a game. Stop reading reviews of people who don't understand Japanese or only played the first hour of the game.

I know most of you haven't played it or only seen trailers/reviews etc so heres my opinion so far:
The first couple chapters (not very long) are linear so it can go through the tutorial to teach you the battle system and story.
It opens up more as you go.
The story is quite nice I think, atleast for me. The gfx is pretty damn good also. The facial expressions are very real and great. I think it can rival MGS4 or uncharted in terms of gfx and how it expresses the at...
its gets really intense and fun when you use your mic and talk to your team mates (thats if they talk back lol).
Good squads/teams can end the game in less than 5 minutes.
It makes a huge difference if your team is communicating a bit or not.
