its like that old story, tortoise beats the hare, msoft released first and shot off at the gate but wont have the steam left in their console to win in the long run. ps3 had a slow start but its got the substance to chug along and perform for years, 10 years. i dont care what anyone says if any console has got a chance of lasting 10 years, its the ps3! xbox will be out of steam well before then.

of course it will hurt ps3 console sales, at least with regards to those who own a 360 and were planning on getting a ps3 for it. With regards to final fantasy, Japan is their biggest market and where it matters to them the most. i wont say that ff13 wont sell well on the 360, it will! but i can see it selling much much better on the ps3.

to be honest i think SE are up in the air about his whole thing, its still too early to say anythings for sure but it would indicate ps3 version being released first. discussion with ms and sony must still be ongoing.

i guess sony will rely on its strong line up of games to carry the ps3 though christmas at its current price, then drop it ready for the new year. spring as you've said.

as well as that the actual game play of MGO is PEER TO PEER everything else to do with registration, updates and purchasing dlc is konami ran, so anybody claiming that MGO is unplayable (Omega4) is clearly talking sh!t. the gamepay in mgo is peer to peer same as xbox live.

maybe sony should have made it mandatory to use psn, but it was still KONAMI'S decision to use their own servers and that was for profit reasons aswell as other business reasons we may not know about. so what does psn have to learn from live in this situation? please explain..
i read the first line of your post and realised you don't have a clue what you are talking about.
the game runs through servers not supplied by psn, which was konami's decision, what we're saying is that if the game ran through psn it would probably be a damn sight better, why you are bringing xbox live into the equation is beyond me
