"I don't even understand how people can say MS is as arrogant as Sony. Ms doesn't talk thrash about Sony. Sony is alway staking cheap shots at MS...."
*cough*
Now I'm not saying sony dosn't, but what you just said is a load of bs. check the picture(sony launch day)
The need to make adjusting the dead zone for the analog sticks standard in FPS console games. Like in Soccom 2, you could adjust it so you had no dead zone if you wanted. Not being able to adjust the dead zone is one thing that annoys me with most console shooters, including Warhawk.
I like to have a little dead zone for my movement, but for looking I like to have no dead zone.
The price of Blu-ray discs will come down, DVDs would have been expensive too when they where first released.
So when the price comes down to something more reasonable thats when the serious adoption of the technology will happen.
Re: Scottama
Its more than just software, over time internal components get better too. That I'm afraid is what the PS3 can not keep up with.
MS is just getting rid of stock thats all, I mean who's gonna want a HD DVD player now?
That Heavenly sword and Uncharted are using a similar technology, those two games are completely underrated for their facial animation tech.
Uncharted is very well done too. With the games that are out at the moment I say the Sony games defiantly have the best facial animations(heavenly sword, uncharted).
But yeah Heavenly sword is very well implemented(you really feel the connection between the two characters, actors did a good job?),I recon better than Uncharted, even the demonstration video. I'd say that these two games are using the same or the very similar technology as the demo.
user base my friend.
I believe Sony owns a very good portion of shares in BD.
Tekken resurrection was like, what 830Mb, I think thats a quite bit difference from downloading 25-50GB.
And who ever said Tekken 6 was gonna be a PSN download?
What are you gonna do if your HDD dies, are you gonna download up to 1TB of information? The only reason those games on PSN or Live are viable is because of their size.
besides the size of movies now days. If your HDD dies your f***ed.
They would be pretty stupid not to port or make a Ace combat for PS3 considering how popular the series is in Japan and now that PS3 is gaining more ground now.
anyone thats played the GTP demo(not to be confused with GT HD) knows that there is no difference between in-game and replay, unlike previous GT games. The only difference in the GTP demo is the camera angles.
I would imagine that once the real GTP and GT5 are released it would be the same case as it was with the GTP demo.
console gaming isn't that popular in china, PC gaming is more popular.
yeah I know what you mean Supersaiyan4 I look at flat water all the time in my daily life, super relistic! *sarcasm*
Most games don't have water physics, all the have are textures that look like water. Uncharted is one of the few games(only one I can think of) that actually has proper water physics.
If any of yous owned Uncharted or even cared to notice(yes its very hard to see in the videos), Uncharteds water affects arn't just a flat plain with a water texture stuck on top like every other game out there, a lot of the river affects in Uncharted actually simulate water. It moves the right direction and bobs up and down when something heavy moves through the water(seas arn't affected by heavy objects), it changes direction correctly when it hits rocks in rapids, it affects your gameplay...
"Leaving rumble out of the PS3’s SIXAXIS controller was a big mistake, there’s no doubt. But the controller itself remains a ‘right’ for two main reasons, both of which are only strengthened by Sony’s recent decision to head back to rumble. Firstly, you can recharge your controller straight out of the box by a USB cable. It sounds simple enough and it is, which is why we’re stunned both the Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii opted for the"
A very simple answer to this. Its not an ipod.
End of story.
Its gonna be a while before anyone cracks the shell of the ipod brand.
alot of people in japan don't have the internet hooked up to their house.
Most people over there just use the free wireless hot spots and use their phones for the web.
